AEW fans may not see Dax Harwood or FTR for an extended period of due to an injury to Harwood's lower back.

Dax took to Instagram Monday night to firstly apologize to Tony Khan and the AEW medical staff as he revealed over the course of the past couple months that he's been keeping a lower back injury secret. Harwood said the injury occured during the FTR and Young Bucks ladder match at AEW Dynasty when he executed a piledriver through the table. Harwood expressed a desire to tough it out in order to not take him or Wheeler off the road.

However, after his recent match with the Blackpool Combat Club on AEW Collision (to which he called one of his favorite matches in the company so far) Harwood said that a hemotoma that formed on his lower back grew to about the size of a football, if not bigger. After finally revealing the injury to Dr. Sampson, Harwood said he now has to take a leave of absence, adding that Sampson told him the injury could be career-threatening if he continued to wrestle in that state.

"I don't know how long this is going to last. I don't know how long we're going to have to be off ... myself and Cash will not be on television for awhile. I have to rest this thing up."

Harwood said doing all this is for the love of the game and he hopes he's back sooner than later. His number one priority is keeping the legacy of FTR intact. Harwood also went on to thank the medical team for looking out for him and thanked Tony Khan, adding that he hopes the AEW President is okay with this because he was completely unaware of the situation.
