Angry WWE RAW Live Coverage - October 27th, 2025

CM Punk and Jey Uso meet ahead of World Heavyweight Title Match

CM Punk will be face-to-face with "Main Event" Jey Uso five days before their match for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship this weekend at Saturday Night's Main Event.

    — Wade Barrett and Joe Tessitore greet audiences at home before throwing it to a video recapping last Monday's Number One Contenders Battle Royal for the World Heavyweight Championship.

    — Jey Uso then makes his way to the ring.

Jey says he doesn't care what anyone thinks of him because it's just him as the Number One Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship, just him on Saturday, and just him who will become a two time World Heavyweight Champion.

Punk's music hits and he then makes his way out. He says he's got four letters and one word in Punk and promises not to get in Jey's face since that's for Saturday. He says he's happy for Jey because he's listening to himself, then says it's no secret that himself and Jey are friends. He says he's never been in Jey's situation, then says he follows his heart and listens to his gut. He says that's a lot harder to do when you're constantly losing, then says his actions from last week speak for themself. He says Jey showed everyone last week that he's got what it takes, then asks him how far he's willing to go. Punk says he knows how far he's willing to go this Saturday, then says when Jey is face down on the mat, he'll realize he's in a citation he can't yeet himself out of.

Jey says he's been in deep waters before and knows how to swim, then says Punk wants the fans to think that he's the man and will paint him as the bad guy. He says he'll show Punk who he is on Saturday night, then says he has four letters and one word for Punk: yeet.

    — We then head over to Judgment Day's lounge, where Dominik Mysterio approaches and tells the rest of the stable that they have a problem. Finn Balor and JD McDonagh completely brush Dominik off by leaving almost immediately, and Dominik then places a call to someone telling them that he needs help.

    — Nikki Bella is shown arriving at the show.

    — Back at ringside, Penta makes his way to the ring. Rusev follows.

WWE Intercontinental Championship No. 1 Contender's Match: Penta vs. Rusev

The bell rings and Penta fires off chops on Rusev. He follows it up with a hurricanrana, then looks to fly through the middle rope out of the ring. Rusev intercepts Penta with a right hand, but Penta delivers an enzuigiri to Rusev. He then flies out of the ring to level Rusev on the outside before dumping Rusev back in the ring and landing a springboard Tornado DDT on him.

Rusev sends Penta crashing into the ring steps on the outside, then sends him crashing over the announce desk and the ring post during the commercial break. He dumps him back into the ring and mockingly fires off kicks on his spine, then fires off Hammer and Anvil elbows on Penta and wears him down with a submission.

Rusev levels Penta with a dropkick, then cinches in a Bear Hug on him back from the break. Penta escapes and fires off chops on Rusev, then looks to fly off the ropes. Rusev intercepts Penta with the Machka Kick and goes for a pin, but Penta kicks out and connects with a Penta Driver on Rusev. He goes for a pin, but Rusev kicks out. Los Americanos then run down to the ring, and Bravo Americano and Rayo Americano clock Rusev and Penta to cause the disqualification.

    No Contest

    — After the match, El Grande Americano levels Penta with a right hand as Bravo and Rayo send Rusev crashing into the ring steps shoulder first. Rusev manages to recover, and Penta sneaks behind Grande. He sets up for the Mexican Destroyer on Grande, but Rayo and Bravo come to Grande's aid.

    — LA Knight is backstage being interviewed by Jackie Redmond. Knight says he came up short and the bottom line is Jey Uso has the title shot. He says he doesn't know how to quit so whoever wins, whether it's Uso or CM Punk, he's going to beat them.

    — Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed and Paul Heyman are backstage. Breakker says they should have been in the Battle Royal last week and is frustrated. Heyman says Adam Pearce was already upset and he knows if Breakker and Reed were in the match, Pearce would have made sure they didn't win. Heyman says Breakker should be focusing on LA Knight because Knight wants the championship too. Breakker tells Heyman to go get him a match. Heyman says he already got that worked out and Breakker has a match against Knight tonight.

    — A video package for Asuka plays celebrating her 10 years on the official roster.

    — Adam Pearce is on the phone, JD McDonagh and Finn Balor come in. Pearce says he has a message for Dominik Mysterio but since they're here he asks what they want. Balor and McDonagh ask for their rematch. Pearce says one of them goes one on one with Sheamus tonight. McDonagh says he'll take on Sheamus and after he beats Sheamus, they need their tag title rematch.

    — Nikki Bella then makes her way to the ring. Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez follow.

Perez kicks out, but Nikki sets up for the Rack Attack 2.0 on her. Perez avoids it, then lands a Pop Rox on Nikki for the win.

    Winner: Roxanne Perez

    — After the match, Perez and Rodriguez look to continue beating down Nikki. Stephanie Vaquer's music hits and she runs down to the ring to come to Nikki's aid. While Rodriguez and Perez looks to back down, Rodriguez gets back in the ring and squares up to Vaquer before deciding to retreat with Perez.

    — Lyra Valkyria walks by Asuka and Kairi Sane. Asuka says they should be in the title picture and not Bayley and Valkyria. Asuka yells at Valkyria and leaves. Sane apologizes to Valkyria and Asuka yells at her to follow her. Bayley steps and gives Valkyria a matching tag jacket. Valkyria says she's never faced Alexa Bliss or Charlotte Flair.

    — Jimmy and Jey Uso are backstage. Jimmy tells Jey he's upset Jey is only thinking of himself. He tells Jey that he knows Jey knows he can beat him and that's why Jey threw Jimmy out of the Battle Royal.

When the two men return to the ring, Breakker intercepts Reed with a spear for the win.

    Winner: Bron Breakker

    — We then head backstage, where Adam Pearce catches Dominik Mysterio fist bumping with Los Americanos. Dominik declines being in cahoots with Los Americanos when he asks Pearce, and Pearce responds by telling Dominik that he'll be defending his Intercontinental Championship against both Penta and Rusev at Saturday Night's Main Event.

    — The Usos are backstage. Jey tells Jimmy they're brothers and he loves him and didn't betray him. Jey says he has a lot on his plate and he could really use his brother having his back. Jimmy feels him and they embrace.

    — JD McDonagh and Finn Balor then make their way to the ring. Sheamus follows.

    — Adam Pearce talks with AJ Styles and Dragon Lee. Styles asks who their opponents will be. JD McDonagh and Finn Balor come by and ask for their tag title re-match. Styles thinks it's not a bad idea to give them their rematch. Pearce issues a rematch next week.
