Seth Rollins has offered an update on his recovery from rotator cuff surgery, though the timeline should be taken with caution given WWE’s history of working fans on injury returns.

Speaking on Mohr Stories podcast, Rollins stated he’s approximately eight to nine weeks into his recovery process.

"I have a few more months left with my shoulder. I had the rotator cuff surgery eight weeks ago, almost nine from where we’re talking right now,” Rollins explained. “So, you know, I got another three months, four months at least."

If accurate, the timeline would put Rollins’ potential return somewhere in the spring 2025 timeframe, possibly positioning him for a WrestleMania 41 return.

However, WWE fans should approach these projections cautiously. The company has a long-established pattern of wrestlers—including Rollins himself—providing longer recovery estimates than actual healing time to maximize surprise returns. This strategic misdirection allows WWE to generate bigger reactions when performers return ahead of their stated schedules.

Seth Rollins suffered a serious shoulder injury, including a torn rotator cuff, during his match with Cody Rhodes at WWE Crown Jewel in Perth, Australia, on October 11, 2025, when a coast?to?coast headbutt landing went wrong. He jammed his elbow into his shoulder on the landing but continued the match.

Whether Rollins returns in three to four months as stated, or surprises fans with an earlier comeback, remains to be seen.
