Thursday Night iMPACT! on AMC

The fallout from last week’s chaos sends shockwaves through TNA. The night is headlined by a No Holds Barred war as AJ Francis collides with Rich Swann in a match with no rules, no mercy, and no turning back!





— The System kicks off the show, with Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers, Bear Bronson, and Cedric Alexander in the ring. Myers recaps the shocking betrayal from last week’s iMPACT, but the crowd doesn’t want to hear from the group.

Eddie Edwards says Moose never truly cared about The System and claims he was a “prick” to them backstage. Edwards then turns his attention to JDC, saying Dango only joined The System to ride their coattails.

Alisha Edwards appears and calls out her husband for betraying both JDC and Moose. She reveals that her contract is coming up soon. Eddie tells her not to air their personal business in front of the fans. Alisha responds by saying she no longer wants to be part of The System. She then walks away from the group, teasing that she may be done not only with the faction but with TNA Wrestling as well.

— Gia Miller is backstage with BDE. Miller asks for his thoughts heading into his match against Nic Nemeth. BDE says Nemeth called him out last week on TNA iMPACT, and he stood up to the veteran to prove he belongs in this business.

Nic Nemeth vs. BDE

BDE comes to the ring first. Nemeth follows, carrying his Call Your Shot trophy.

Nemeth offered his hand and kicked BDE in the gut. He followed by raking his eyes and working his arm. He yelled "what are you going to do about this? Nothing!" before headbutting him. BDE worked his arm until Nemeth kicked him in the leg. Nemeth put him in a headlock. BDE punched him and sent him over ropes and followed with a tope suicida. BDE went for a cutter, but Nemeth moved.

After the break, Nemeth landed an elbow drop in the middle of the ring. BDE landed three forearms and Nemeth forearmed him so hard, he fell to the mat. Nemeth Irish Whip'd him into the corner before standing on the back of BDE's neck. He whipped him into the opposite corner and stood on the side of his neck. BDE reversed an Irish Whip and sent Nemeth chest first into the turnbuckle. Nemeth takes BDE down with a clothesline before pummeling him.

BDE blocked a forearm shot and hit him with an open palm strike and a Busaiku Knee. He followed with a splash and covered Nemeth for 2. Nemeth connected with Danger Zone for the win.

— After the match, Ryan Nemeth came out. He congratulated his brother before going to the ring to call Mara Sade to the ring. He wanted her to admit he was the superior athlete. Sade said to tell everyone the truth, "you didn't beat me, you got away with one." Nemeth thinks she has a crush on him and told her to give him as kiss on the check. She decked him. She went for a Superkick, but he caught her before taking her out with a clothesline.

— The Elegance Brand is backstage waiting for Ash By Elegance, who is brought into the room by Mr. Elegance. Ash is presented with a bouquet and a necklace. The Personal Concierge then announces that Ash has been cleared to compete.

Ash declares that she never lost the TNA Knockouts Championship. The celebration is interrupted by Knockouts Champion Lei Ying Lee, who tells Ash she can face the champion anytime, anywhere.

Indi Hartwell and Xia Brookside then appear, prompting Ash to tease a six-woman tag team match.

Stacks w/ Arianna Grace vs. Home Town Man

Stacks comes to the ring first, accompanied by Grace. Home Town Man follows. Home Town Man is showing a mask to the crowd when he's hit from behind by Stacks, who takes the mask. Home Town Man jumps on him and takes him down and pummels him. He reigned down punches in the corner before hitting Stacks in the mouth while his hand is wrapped. He hit Stacks with a hip attack in the corner and Stacks rolls out of the ring. He then blindsides Home Town Man on the outside and puts on the mask. Home Town Man sends Stacks crashing to the floor before placing the mask on a kid.

Back in the ring, Stacks held Home Town Man against the ropes. He mocked Santino before going for a punch, but Home Town Man moved. He took him down with a corkscrew and covered him for two. Stacks put him in a single leg crab, but Home Town Man gets to the ropes. He sent Stacks to the outside. Stacks tried to get Grace to give her the title and she refused. Home Town Man took him down and then did a scoop slam and an elbow drop. He took Stacks down with a crossbody. Stacks took the title from Grace and she took it back. Home Town Man took him down with a bulldog. Stacks used the ropes to roll up Home Town Man while Grace turned away. She did celebrate with him afterwards.

Winner: Stacks

— Time for the TNA Injury Report presented by Bioflex and Moose is out of action after his back injury that was exacerbated by the attack from the System, Rich Swann is cleared for tonight’s match, Mara Sade is under evaluation after being clotheslined by Ryan Nemeth.

— Arianna Grace and Stacks are backstage. Stacks asks Arianna why she didn’t help him win the match. Arianna reminds him that they talked earlier and says she’s trying to make up for the mistakes she made.

Santino Marella walks in, but Arianna tells him she has the situation under control. She then warns Stacks that there will be consequences for winning the match the way he did.

Elijah vs. Jason Hodge (w/ Order 4)

Hotch makes his way to the ring, accompanied by Order 4. Elijah follows.

Elijah takes a charging Hotch down with a big boot. He lifted him in the air with one arm before sending him to the outside. Elijah slammed his head into the apron. Back in the ring, Hotch got tossed into the corner. Hotch went for a chop, but his arm was caught. Elijah used him to walk the ropes, jumped in the ring, and flipped Hotch over. Hotch walked to the ramp and Elijah grabbed him by the hair, slapped him, and sent him down the ramp. Hotch escaped to the ring and Order 4 blocked Elijah from getting in the ring. Elijah tried to punch Mustafa Ali, but he ducked and Hodge jumped over the ring to take him out.

Back in the ring, Hodge worked him in the corner. While he talked to the ref, Ali raked Elijah's eyes. Elijah took Hodge down with a back body drop. He followed with left hand punches against the ropes. Elijah had Hotch up on his shoulders when Tasha Steelz distracted the ref. Skyler pulled Elijah's arm down over the rope, allowing Hotch to deliver double knees to Elijah's arm. Hotch continued working the arm.

Elijah got to his feet and did an arm drag. He chopped him several times in the corner and stomped him to the mat. He followed with a twisting neckbreaker, but Hodge kicked out. Hotch kicked Elijah with an enzuiguri from the apron. Elijah went for a rolling neckbreaker, but his left arm gave out. Hotch connected with a Superkick and followed with a Blue Thunder Bomb, but Elijah kicked out. Hotch went to the top rope, but Elijah moved. Hotch connected with another enzuiguri. Elijah caught Hotch with a knee and a piledriver for the win.

Winner: Elijah

— After the match, Steelz and Skyler beat down Elijah. Tasha put Hotch over Elijah. Ali directed Secret Agent Zero to get Elijah's guitar. As he started to swing, Elijah kicked him in the gut and grabbed the guitar. As he swung wildly, Zero pulled Ali to safety.

— Backstage, we hear from TNA Knockout Jada Stone, who says she’s here to make a statement. She’s interrupted by Order 4. Jada tells Mustafa Ali that she doesn’t appreciate their actions, but Ali begins to bully her. Jada fires back, telling him, “I can drop you.”

Tasha Steelz tries to play peacemaker but suddenly drops Jada Stone with a forearm strike. Security rushes in to break up the confrontation. The segment ends with Elijah walking up to Jada and offering her support.

— Daria Rae comes out and joins the announce team at ringside.

Elayna Black vs. Ruthie Jay

They traded words and Black shoved her. They did stand and switches. Black took her to the mat and did a gutwrench suplex. Black pulled her hair and slammed her face down before jumping on her back. Black put her in a chokehold until Jay fought out of it. Jay shoulder tackled her in the corner and followed with a crossbody. Jay went to the apron and Black kicked her in the face. As Jay laid over the ropes, Black hit her repeatedly with knee lifts. Black hit her with a running knee in the corner. Black did a neckbreaker for the win.

Winner: Elayna Black

— The Hardys are backstage and The Righteous walk up to them. Vincent says they won because they let them be themselves. Dutch says the many are behind them. Vincent tells them to imagine if they were not against them, but with them.

— Trey Miguel, Eddie Edwards, Steve Maclin, and Eric Young are at a table backstage with their briefcases. Gia Miller starts with Miguel. He pleaded with the wrestling goddesses, "please don't let this happen twice in one month." He opened his briefcase to reveal he gets a shot at the International Championship before walking off.

Edwards received a shot at the TNA World Championship spot. Miller asked how it felt and he replied, "you can't beat The System" before walking away.

Maclin opened his briefcase and shook his head before closing it. He revealed he was fired. Miller said she was so sorry as Eric Young laughed, opened his briefcase and turned it to reveal a shot at the X-Division title. Young said "your choices haunt you. Remember that, Steve. See ya!" Miller asked if he had any final words, but Maclin closed the briefcase and left.

— Santana is backstage talking on the phone and The System walk up to him. Eddie Edwards says now that he’s champion, everybody wants what he’s got and he’s got a shot at the title. Santana says he’s gone through him and all his homeboys already. Eddie says that was the old System, this is the new regime and you can’t beat The System.

— The camera then cuts to the commentary desk, where Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt struggle to process Steve Maclin’s exit from TNA Wrestling. Hannifan even breaks character to send a personal message to his best friend, noting that he wouldn’t have a job with TNA if it weren’t for Maclin.

No Holds Barred Match: AJ Francis vs. Rich Swann

Francis comes to the ring first. Swann follows. He goes to the back and comes with a trash can full of weapons. He got in the ring with a bat and hit Francis several times and sent him out of the ring. Francis hit Swann as he was dragging a table out from under the ring. Francis pushed the table partially under the ring. He went for a chokeslam, but Swann hit him in the head and got the table. Francis took him down with a big boot. They go up the ramp. Francis lifted Swann and was going to throw him into the screen, but Swann escaped. Francis blocked a Destroyer and tried to lock Swann in for a Styles Clash, but Swann escaped again. Francis drove him face first into the stage.

After the break, Francis is sitting in a chair in the ring with a chain around Swann's neck. Francis yelled at Swann, but Swann hit him in the face and then sent him face first into the chair. He went for a crossbody, but got caught. Francis slammed him in the chair and went for a pin. Francis tossed the steel steps into the ring. He sat it on its side and put Swann on his shoulders. Swann countered and sent Francis face first into the steps before curbstomping him. He followed with a cutter from the middle rope, but Francis kicked out.

Swann got a second table to set up next to the first table. He put chairs into the ring. Francis connected with the TFL into the chairs, but Swann kicked out. Francis put him across the ropes and set up for a chokeslam. Swann hit him with an enzuiguri from the ropes and followed with a hurricanrana through the tables. Swann put him back in the ring, moved the steps, and Phoenix splashed him, but only covered him for 2.5.

Swann grabbed the bat and Francis grabbed the chain. He decked Swann in the face and covered him for two, but Swann kicked out. Francis throws the trash can in the ring and puts it over Swann's head. Francis hit him repeatedly with a chair. He pulled the trash can off him and covered him by standing on him, but Swann got his shoulders up. Francis went up top and dragged Swann with him. Swann reversed the Down Payment into a hurricanrana into the chairs. Swann hit him repeatedly with a chair before connecting with a splash for the win.

Winner: Rich Swann

— As the shows ends, Kaz is waiting for Daria Rae in her office. He demands they talk and Rae slams the door as the shoe ends.
