Punk to speak after taking out Roman Reigns en route to WrestleMania

World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk and Roman Reigns have intensified their rivalry with every passing week en route to their epic title clash at WrestleMania. One week ago, Punk powerbombed The OTC through the announce table. Now, The Second City Saint will address his WrestleMania challenger, tonight!

    — Michael Cole and Corey Graves greet audiences at home as CM Punk makes his way to the ring.

Punk says Houston is a professional wrestling town and says there's a lot of professional wrestling history here. He says he's has a lot of great moments in the Toyota Center, but ghosts that also haunt him and says it's great to be alive on a Monday Night in Houston.

Punk says Roman Reigns is not in Houston, then says he was sent crashing through the announce desk two weeks ago with a powerbomb. He says Reigns claims to hate him and he's happy about it, then says being hated by losers is the price he pays for not being one of them. He places the World Heavyweight Championship belt on the announce desk, then says while he may be old, he's not weak.

Punk stands on the announce desk and says WrestleMania 42 is the biggest show of 2026. He says his tools are self made and sharpened to a deadly point through years of self belief and sacrifice. He says Reigns' tools are store bought, hand delivered, and made of plastic, then says Reigns is the face of WWE because he's safe. He says Reigns' fairy tale of being a champion is over and says he's paid his dues. He says he's earned everything he has while Reigns is a buck-toothed nepo baby who once ate dog food for a weird man. He says he can't be blackballed, then addresses Pat McAfee and vents his frustrations with McAfee.

Punk vents about the current WWE ticket prices and says he wants them lowered for the families in the audience, then drops the microphone.

    — We see a recap of LA Knight crashing iShowSpeed's stream and beating him. We then cut backstage and Speed is looking for Danhausen. Danhausen shows up and Speed wants the curse to be lifted. Danhausen wants to be mentioned on Speed's stream and he'll lift the curse. Adam Pearce comes by and asks why Speed is here and he tells Speed to go home and not get involved in the tag stuff. Austin Theory and Logan Paul come in and tell Speed what Knight did to him is unforgivable. Paul tells Speed he's safe with them and says Speed needs to stick with them and they take him away and head to the ring to watch Theory's match.

Austin Theory (w/ Logan Paul and IShowSpeeed) vs. LA Knight

The bell rings and the two lock up. Knight sends Theory crashing into the mat spine first and connects with an over the shoulder powerslam on him, then lands a bodyslam on him. Theory responds with a suplex on Knight, but Knight levels Theory with a clothesline and lands another one to send him crashing over the barricade.

Theory sends Knight crashing into the ring post face first and gloats during the commercial break. The two men return inside the ring, and Theory stomps on Knight's spine. — After the match, The Usos and Knight yell at IShowSpeed in the ring. Paul pulls IShowSpeed out of the ring to come to his aid and heads to the back with him and Theory. Knight stops The Vision and IShowSpeed, then calls Adam Pearce to the ring to make a Six Man Tag Team Match pitting himself and The Usos against The Vision and IShowSpeed official for WrestleMania 42.

    — We take a look back at the whole Cody Rhodes/Randy Orton/Pat McAfee drama.

    — Finn Balor is seen walking backstage. Grayson Waller and Kofi Kingston argue with each other as Balor keeps walking, as his match is next.

    — JD McDonagh then makes his way to the ring. Finn Balor follows for the upcoming scheduled match.

    — We then head over to a video of a conversation between AJ Lee and Michael Cole from earlier today. Becky Lynch almost instantly crashes things, prompting Cole to leave and Lynch to sit down with Lee. Lynch says she saw how nervous she was upon their first meeting during her days in "NXT" because Lee saw her replacement standing in front of her. Lee responds by telling Lynch to keep underestimating her and says she's proud of Lynch for what's she's done for the professional wrestling business. She says Lynch wouldn't have accomplished anything had she knocked down doors for her, then tells Lynch that she'll see her at WrestleMania 42. Lee leaves and a frustrated Lynch pushes over both of their stools.

Bayley rolls out of the way and fires off strikes on Legend's midsection, then connects with a dropkick on her and follows it up with a running knee.

    — Seth Rollins then makes his way to the ring.

Rollins says he's been gone for 6 months and waiting to walk down the entrance ramp as the fans sing his song. He says he's back and will be facing GUNTHER at WrestleMania 42, then says he's still trying to understand why GUNTHER attacked him last week due to their lack of history and personal issues. He says he's been running it through his head all week, then says the only logical conclusion he can think of is that GUNTHER has entered a business relationship with Paul Heyman.

Rollins says he has two missions in his head: take back the World Heavyweight Championship and kill The Vision. He says Logan Paul and Austin Theory are involved with The Usos while Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker are both injured, then says he knew Heyman would find someone to protect him and says he put Brock Lesnar on a silver platter for Oba Femi. He says GUNTHER just made things very personal for him.

GUNTHER sneaks up behind Rollins and looks to attack him. Rollins momentarily gains the upperhand and flies through the ring with a suicide dive to take out GUNTHER, but GUNTHER sends Rollins crashing over over the announce desk. Officials run out to the ring to get the two men separated.

    — Backstage, GUNTHER runs into Heyman. He says he doesn't know why GUNTHER attacked Rollins, but says he owes GUNTHER a very big thank you. GUNTHER responds by saying Rollins has made things personal, which is good because they're already personal for him.
