Avery Styles is continuing to build momentum in the early stages of his professional wrestling career. Just days after officially signing with TNA Wrestling, the son of AJ Styles has been announced for another high-profile independent wrestling appearance.
The announcement comes at a pivotal moment for the 19-year-old prospect. Avery was officially revealed as a new TNA signing at the Lockdown PPV on August 23. This significant milestone came about less than three months after his professional wrestling debut.
Avery is set to make his official debut for Expect The Unexpected (ETU) Wrestling at Marcus Mathers’ All I Want 4 event on Saturday, September 19. The show will take place at “The Mecca” in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey, and will stream live on Independent Wrestling TV.
During Lockdown, Avery was introduced as the “Phenomenal Son,” which was a nod to his father’s famous “Phenomenal” nickname. Frankie Kazarian interrupted the festivities and reminded the young wrestler that he, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, and Christopher Daniels helped build the foundation of TNA.
Kazarian also warned him about the “snakes” that exist in the locker room. However, he assured the rookie that he could count on him.
Avery’s next stop will bring him to ETU Wrestling, a rising independent promotion that features some of the top talent on the indie scene. All I Want 4 is being co-presented by ETU and Marcus Mathers and continues the popular “All I Want” series.
The September 19 card is already shaping up to be notable. Mathers himself is scheduled to face former WWE star Tyler Breeze, while Aaron Rourke will take on Billie Starkz. Elsewhere, Dustin Waller is set to battle Gravity, with Joey Janela and Janai Kai also announced for the event.
Avery’s exact opponent has not yet been revealed. ETU and Mathers announced him as “Avery Styles is All I Want.”
