    JR talks on PPV in Australia

    Jim Ross has posted a new blog on his official website (jrsbarbq.com) where he answers a fan question about International Pay Per Views:

    "We are often asked here about the WWE having pay per view events in the UK and in Australia. Both these territories are extremely vibrant and important and I would bet a case of Bar-B-Q Sauce that each region has PPVs in the future. Does that mean in 2007? I don’t know, as I have not seen a complete 2007 calendar, but I do know the WWE is touring internationally a great deal in the month of April and again later in 2007. Point being is that both the UK and Australia have great facilities that would make awesome PPV sites and I hope I am fortunate enough to be around to be a part of these historic events.

    I was at Global Warning which WWE sold as a DVD which was as big as a Wrestlemania. If WWE held a PPV show in one state only it would do brilliantly.

    WWE arent scheduled to be in Oz next til November this year according to Paul Dainty the Australian promoter of WWE.

    And thats only a house show right, which means that a PPV wont happen this year and puts 2008 as the earliest possible PPV date.

    It may not be a house show as nohing hs been determined yet. No arenas or cities have picked at all. It could be anywhere and they could still do a PPV. And if they do a PPV they'll probably do a RAW taping like they did last year.

    well it cant be a ppv though, because the November ppv is already booked for Miami.

    probably, but thats better than nothing, and its one step closer to a ppv than most other countries will ever be.
