    Default The Condemned

Alright, so I just got back from seeing the Condemned. Going into it, I didn't expect much as it's a WWE film. In the first few scenes, I found it to be rather boring and stupid. When I left the movie, I thought it was pretty solid, and I enjoyed it. Then, a friend of mine brought up two scenes that I forgot, now I'm a little iffy on it.

While it was really well done, there was a big problem with it. There is no warning on really how graphic this film gets. There are several scenes that just made me sick to my stomach watching, two of them being the worst. I won't say what they are here, as some people may want to watch the movie, but let me just say it was at the point where my friend wanted to get up and walk out of the movie.

I'm not saying the movie was bad. I liked it, surprisingly, and it is definately the best WWE film to date. However...just, be warned, it is VERY graphic at times.

Has anyone else seen it yet and would like to throw in their two cents?

I went to see it last night, and I thought it was great, it blows See No Evil and The Marine out of the water. But was it just the theatre I was at or everywhere, there were about 10 people in the theatre including me.. But anyways, I will definately buy it when it comes out on dvd.

It wasn't just you. The condemned only grossed 1.3 million on its opening night which makes it the worst of all WWE films so far. See no evil grossed 1.6 million and the Marine grossed 2.3 million in their opening nights. Neither of them even made it to 20 million at the box office and there is no reason to believe this one will either.

I'll download it online when someone ups it, just as i did with The Marine and See No Evil.

I wouldnt expect much from WWE films. I only watched See No Evil, and boy did it suck. I didn't even find it a bit scary, even though it was a horror movie.

Expect much. It's really good. Too bad people just see 'WWE' and assume it sucks.

My theater was really empty too.
