Default Owner’s mummified body found in foreclosed Detroit-area home

Owner’s mummified body found in foreclosed Detroit-area home

March 6, 2014 3:43 PM By Cora Van Olson

    The face of a mummy
    A mummified head.

It seems that the nice German lady who lived on Savannah Drive in Pontiac, Michigan, stopped paying her mortgage about three to six years ago. Weirdly, it’s been years since anybody’s even seen her — until yesterday. A contractor who came to do some work on the foreclosed home, found her mummified remains in the garage.

The woman, who neighbors say was in her 40s and worked for one of the three large auto manufacturers in the area, traveled most of the time for work, and spoke little to her neighbors.

She was found in the back seat of her Jeep in the garage. No one ever seems to have come looking for her, not even from her job. At this time it is not known if she was laid off from her job, or even if she has any family. Her name is being withheld pending further investigation.

Police are not hazarding any guesses as to cause of death until the after autopsy is complete. One neighbor, who asked to remain anonymous told WXYZ.com, ”Nobody came over there to check on the lady. It’s weird. And it’s actually scary,”

WOW you would of thought the Police/Bill Collectors or SOMEONE would of gone to her home and found her earlier, this seems too long for a body to go unnoticed especially on a foreclosed home a new lock is put on the house and I'm guessing a walk thru is done and nothing came up then? LOL. Shake my head at society nowadays for all we know she got murdered or something!
