The world of professional wrestling received quite a feature in the Outsports Power 100, celebrating LGBTQ sports personalities.

As explained in the feature, the list had to be cut down after the authors realized the vast amount of LGBTQ athletes and sports personalities who are working today.

Effy, #96, was heralded as an "LGBTQ pro wrestling icon" who as built himself into a figure of notoriety, without ever signing with a major televised wrestling promotion. The self-proclaimed 'Weapon of Sass Destruction' began hosting 'Effy's Big Gay Brunch' events in 2020, featuring LGBTQ performers and allies. Effy is openly gay and has said in the past that his sexual orientation has cost him bookings.

Ross Forman, #80, works with IMPACT Wrestling behind the scenes as the promotion's Head of Media Relations. Forman is openly gay and has helped LGBTQ wrestlers including Gisele Shaw and Jai Vidal share their stories. Forman has been with IMPACT for 17 years, making him one of, if not the longest-tenured employee currently working for the promotion.

Anthony Bowens, #44, has become one of AEW's most popular stars thanks to his work with Max Caster in The Acclaimed alongside Billy Gunn. Bowens became the first out LGBTQ male champion in AEW history last year when he and Caster captured the AEW World Tag Team Championships. Bowens recently went viral after Harley Cameron's attempts to seduce him during last week's episode of AEW Rampage backfired for her.
