Angry TNA Thursday Night Impact Live Coverage - April 9th, 2026

TNA Thursday Night iMPACT! on AMC

After The Righteous' attacks on Matt Hardy at Sacrifice and in the stairwell; The Hardys put their TNA World Tag Team Championships on the line against The Righteous in a high-stakes Tables Match where anything goes. With chaos guaranteed and tables waiting to be shattered, both teams are ready to push the limits for tag team supremacy. Expect a brutal, unpredictable battle where only one team walks out still standing.

    — Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt greet audiences at home as TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella and TNA Director of Operations Daria Rae are waiting in the ring.

Marella and Rae introduce Edwards and Santana. Both men make their way to the ring.

Eddie invites Santana to take a seat and says when they both first came to TNA Wrestling, they had similar paths. He says they both came into TNA Wrestling as tag team wrestlers fighting for every scrap they could get. He says both himself and Santana fought week after week to get to the top of TNA Wrestling, but says their similarities end there because when things got difficult, Santana left while he stayed. He rattles off some of his professional wrestling accomplishments, then says he will become a TNA World Champion when he beats Santana for a third time and signs the contract.

Santana takes off his sunglasses and tells Eddie he wants him to look him in his eyes. He says Eddie was right in saying that he left TNA Wrestling while Eddie stayed, but he went out into the world to find who he was. He says he eventually came back to TNA Wrestling, then says Eddie stayed in TNA Wrestling because he was comfortable and complacent. He says he came back to TNA Wrestling and turned down more money or opportunities to prove something before he signs his contract.

Eddie brings up Santana's daughter, but Santana warns Eddie against bringing up his daughter before he reminds Eddie that his wife Alisha Edwards left him.

Cedric Alexander looks to attack Santana, but Leon Slater comes to Santana's aid.

    — Back from the break, Dani Luna makes her way to the ring. Jada Stone follows, and Tasha Steelz joins the announce desk.

    Jada Stone vs. Dani Luna

The bell rings and the two lock up. Luna wears down Stone with an arm submission, then runs over her with a shoulder tackle. Stone connects with a springboard hurricanrana to Luna, then delivers a dive to Luna through the middle rope and gets in Steelz's face at the announce desk. Luna clocks Stone from behind and powerbombs her onto the ring apron spine first.

Stone looks to join Luna inside the ring, but Luna sends Stone crashing off the ring apron and pins her back in the ring. Stone kicks out, but Luna wears her down with a Half Boston Crab and gets her up on her shoulders to cinch in a Torture Rack on her. Stone escapes when Luna looks to send her crashing into the mat and fires off right hands on Luna. Luna runs over Stone with a big boot and pins her, but Stone kicks out.

Back from the break, Luna delivers a forearm to Stone's spine. Stone responds with a hurricanrana to Luna and rocks her with a kick out of the corner, then connects with a split legged moonsault off the top rope and goes for a pin. Luna kicks out and delivers a backbreaker to Stone when Stone looks to fly off the ropes, then connects with a powerbomb on her and goes for a pin. Stone kicks out.

Luna gets Stone up on her shoulders, but Stone escapes and rolls up Luna. Luna kicks out, but Stone catches her with a head scissors that sends her crashing into the corner and follows it up with a twisted moonsault for the win.

    Winner: Jada Stone

    — After the match, Steelz clocks Stone from behind and rains down right hands on her. She spikes Stone with a piledriver and stands tall over her.

    — We then head over to the Injury Report, where we find out Tessa Blanchard and Matt Hardy have been cleared while Nic Nemeth and Jody Threat have not been cleared.

    — Back from the break, we head over to a video of a kid asking Elijah to visit his father's grave with him in a graveyard. Elijah agrees, but Frankie Kazarian hits Elijah with a rock and sends him crashing into a tree. Kazarian then hands the kid a $20 bill, but the kid tells Kazarian that they agreed on $100.

    — Back at ringside, Taryn Terrell makes her way out.

Terrell says she misses the fans and thanks TNA Wrestling for letting them hang out in her hometown. She says she's watched TNA Wrestling grow and expresses how proud she is, then addresses The Elegance Brand and tells Ash By Elegance she doesn't know what she's capable of and how much she has sacrificed for the women's division.

The Elegance Brand makes their way out as The Personal Concierge interrupts Terrell. M By Elegance tells Terrell that he's disgusted by her, and Heather By Elegance says Terrell is being disrespectful by making fun of Ash as she's on a mental health break. The Personal Concierge directs Terrell and the fans to look at the jumbo screen, where we see ODB and Mickie James laid out backstage.

M and Heather attack Terrell, but security makes their way out. Heather levels one of the guards, and Mr. Elegance takes out the second one. M levels the third guard with a right hand, and Mr. Elegance lands a bodyslam on Terrell. M then holds Terrell in place for Heather to fly off the ropes and take out Terrell.

    — Back from the break, we then head backstage to a verbal confrontation between Santino Marella and Arianna Grace and Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo. Marella and Stacks brawl with one another, but Stacks and Grace retreat into the women's locker room. Hartwell clears it for Marella, and Marella follows them in there to brawl with Stacks.

    — Back at ringside, Frankie Kazarian then makes his way to the ring. BDE follows, and Ryan Nemeth takes a seat at the announce desk.

    — Frankie Kazarian makes his way to the ring. BDE follows, and Ryan Nemeth takes a seat at the announce desk.

    BDE vs. Frankie Kazarian

The bell rings and Kazarian wears down BDE with a submission hold. BDE rocks Kazarian with a forearm and fires off a few right hands on him, then catches him with a codebreaker. Kazarian locks in a Chicken Wing on BDE, and BDE taps out.

    Winner: Frankie Kazarian

    — After the match, Ryan Nemeth slides into the ring and fires off stomps on BDE. The lights go out, and Elijah appears behind Kazarian. He chokes him out with a bandana and chases Kazarian to the back.

    — Back from the break, Elayna Black makes her way to the ring. Myla Grace and Harley Hudson follow.

Elayna Black vs. Myla Grace (w/ Harley Hudson)

The bell rings and Black lands a double stomp on Grace's spine. She goes for a pin but Grace kicks out and lands a twisting suplex on Black. She ascends to the top rope, but Black rocks Grace with a forearm and connects with Black Out on Grace for the win.

    Winner: Elayna Black

    — We head backstage, where Daria Rae informs Santino Marella that he's been suspended indefinitely. Indi Hartwell tries to defend Marella, but accidentally touches Rae. Rae suspends Hartwell indefinitely as well and kicks them both out of her office, smiling as they leave.

    — Gia Miller introduces Ricky Sosa and he makes his way out. Miller looks to speak with Sosa about what it means to him to be an official member of the TNA Wrestling roster, but Eric Young interrupts the pair and tells Sosa that he sees a pretender and a wannabe. Sosa tells Young that they can fight right now, prompting Young to clock Sosa from behind and send his head bouncing off the ring apron. He continues to beat him down in the ring and stands tall over him.

    — Back from the break, we see Father James Mitchell inform Tessa Blanchard that they're in the Undead Realm. We see Mara Sadè and Rosemary walking around in a hallway, and Rosemary summons Allie. Mila Moore and Victoria Crawford are seen wandering another part of the Undead Realm, but Jesscika Havok kidnaps Moore. Mitchell and Rosemary are then seen talking to Abyss.

    — Back at ringside, Order 4 is waiting in the ring.

John Skyler tells the fans to applaud their new TNA International Champion Mustaa Ali, and Ali says he wants to address one man rather than the fans: Trey Miguel. Miguel then makes his way to the ring.

Ali says he has no issue with Miguel and says the TNA Wrestling fans love what he's coined a second chance champion. He says TNA cheers for those who have a second chance, then says he doesn't need a second chance and says he hasn't had substance abuse issues or as much as a parking ticket. He says he'll be a champion in TNA Wrestling because he's too good for TNA, but Miguel says he's a champion because Ali is a scumbag and a coward. He says he needed second chances, and TNA welcomed him back with open arms.

Ali tells Miguel that he has a family in Order 4 unlike Miguel's family who isn't in TNA anymore. Miguel says The Rascalz are still his brothers and says he has the TNA International Championship while Ali simply has a family and has nothing.

Ali tells Tasha Steelz, Skyler, Jason Hotch, and Special Agent 0 not to get involved in matters as he tells them to leave the ring. Miguel trips Ali and rains down right hands and left hands on him, but Hotch, Skyler, and Agent 0 come to Ali's aid.

Moose's music hits and he makes his way to the ring along with Alisha Edwards. Moose takes out Hotch, Skyler, and Agent 0 before he spears Ali. We head to a break.

    — Back from the break, The Righteous make their way to the ring. The Hardys follow.

TNA World Tag Team Championship Match: The Hardys (c) vs. The Righteous

The bell rings and Matt brawls with Dutch as Jeff goes after Vincent. Matt delivers a Side Effect to Vincent, then slides a table into the ring with Jeff to set it up inside the ring. Jeff catapults Vincent into the bottom rope, then sends Dutch crashing into the ring steps shoulder first with Jeff. Matt looks to land an elbow drop on Dutch as Dutch lays on the table off the ropes, but Dutch moves out of the way and Matt is sent crashing through the table. Since the table is not on the outside, the referee calls for the match to be continued.

Dutch grabs another table from under the ring and slides it inside. The table is set up in the corner, but Jeff sends Dutch's face crashing into the bottom turnbuckle repeatedly.

Vincent sends Matt's head bouncing off a table, and Jeff sends Dutch crashing over the ring steps.

Back from the break, Jeff sets up a ladder on the outside of the ring and grabs a broom. He hits Vincent with a broom, then ascends to the top of the ladder as Matt lays Dutch on a table. Vincent grabs onto Jeff's ankle and pulls him off, then breaks the strut of the ladder with a chair.

We see Bear Bronson and Brian Myers watching the action from backstage as Matt and Vincent level one another with clotheslines. Dutch lays Jeff on a table and ascends to the middle rope, but Matt goes after Dutch to come to Jeff's aid. The Hardys send Dutch crashing through a table on the outside, but Vincent sends Matt crashing through another table on the outside.

Matt delivers Twist of Fate to Vincent on the outside, then lays Vincent on a table. Jeff then lands a Swanton Bomb off the top rope to send Vincent crashing through a table on the outside to win the match.

Winners and STILL TNA World Tag Team Champions: The Hardys

    — After the match, Dutch blindsides Jeff from behind to send him crashing through the table that has been set up in the corner. He retreats up the entrance ramp as the show goes off the air.
