Well I've watched old Hulk in the 80s and the early 90's. I watched him in WCW and I watched him in WWF. And in WWE. I was born watching wrestling so I can say this.
I never could stand Hogan then and I can't now. The only time, the only time I even remotely cared about Hogan was when he went heel with the original NwO before it swallowed WCW. That was the only time he was entertaining and seemed to care in the least bit.
I cannot deny it. Hogan has done a lot for the business back in the day. He helped make it mainstream and really popular back then. But now he has nothing to offer. Nothing but camera stealing time from the up comers.
And really I'd say half the current HUlkamaniacs are nothing more than bandwagon hoppers since there are people that still worship Hogan they want to do it to despite the fact that the guy has never thrown a decent punch in his entire career. His moveset is beyond patheitc. His finisher is done better by the women in the business.
The fact of the matter is simply Hogan has nothing left to offer yet he is still on the show trying to do crap. he can't do it anymore. Last year it wouldn't be that bad to job to another Icon in the business would it? I mean come on it is HBK. A future Hall of Famer. And Hogan could not even job to him? And now we have a guy that is being billed as the future of the company. Orton indeed could be if done correctly and he keeps himself in check and out of trouble and what is happening? Hogan will most likely go over in that match as well, even with a hurt knee and plastic hip.
Hogan is a cancer in wrestling and the more he comes out to do this little schitck and go over up and comers and the such the worse off things will be because he refuses to have his ego in check.
Yes he did job to Brock Lesner and we saw where Lesner went. But Brock was an idiot. Orton is no idiot. Wrestling is embedded in his blood as the second or third third generation superstar.... I think second. Anywyas, just like Jarrett is a cancer that is killing TNA slowly because ofhis massive ego, Hogan's ego is evem bigger. He thinks he still has it. That he can still appeal to the masses and takes about 10 minutes to flex in the ring when that 10 minutes could have been used for another match. And on top of that he's still pulling and saying the same stuff he said back in the 80's.
Hogan is already inducted in the Hall of Fame... what more does he need with the WWE? What more?
