ECW opinion

Now I have been actually supporting the new ECW since day one and defending it but now i really can't anymore.

ECW has become so boring that the only reason i still watch it is because of Kofi Kingston and that is pretty bad because I will watch anything wrestling. Kingston is carrieng that brand right now since CM Punk lost his Championship and wrestles on smackdown now.

Thoughts?

I have yet to see last night's ECW(I saw the diva match) and well I'm enjoying it less than when Morrison was ECW Champion but not to the point of not liking it. I still enjoy watching but it's just not as good as it was months ago and the only things that are really keeping my attention are the divas(bodies and seeing Layla improve) and the Eddge/Chavo/Punk thing and the tag-matches with Morrison and Miz.

...what? Seriously...Punk lost the belt a week ago, and Kofi debuted a week ago. Now, Kofi is carrying the brand? You do know that Punk wrestled this week on ecw, last week on ecw, the week before that on ecw, AND the week before that on ecw. The only reason he didn't do it the week before that was because it was a best of show...in which they showed one of his fights.

Seriously, Kofi just debuted and beat two jobbers. Punk has delivered with matches on both shows three weeks in a row, an interesting storyline, and several promo spots (such as attacking Chavo at the end of the show). How can you say that Kofi is carrying it?

ECW is just Heat with a title.
In Canada, it airs Friday at Midnight, by then i've already seen the results so I don't genereally watch it, but if was on Tuesday through Thursday, i probably wouldn't miss a show.

chavo competing in the royal rumble for a title shot when he's already the ecw champion probably didn't do the brand much justice even though they did announce the winner would be able to challenge for the title on one of the three brands but seriously aside from tommy dreamer who would really pick the ecw title as their first choice

Yeah, even JR said in his blog that he doesn't see the ECW title as a credible World Championship... yet.

i dont care for ecw either. theres no excitement there. it cant be called extreme if its not really extreme. but then again, i dont own wwecw.

ecw is lame its baisicly a telivised developmental territory....with what 2 origonal extremists dreamer and balls? they pretty much are ,what jobbers? so if nothings on ill tune in but most likely not enjoy it

They just need to drop this crap and merge Smackdown and ECW. Whats the point of keeping it going when TNA is getting better ratings?
