Show starts with a promo from Nia Jax. She is badly bruised in her face after the meeting with Mickie, but it doesn't seen to affect her much. She is determined in the way she looks and speaks. And she's got a personal message to Mickie James. Nia says that for her Mickie is nothing else than a bump in the road to achieve greatness. If she for one second believes if she care about who she is, or who her husband is, or hell, even who gives Nia her paychecks, Hell no! This has become deeply personal, and Mickie knows just as Jax does, that nothing can stand in her way of capturing that EAM Womens Title, and destroying everyone that stands in her way in the process. And if she thinks a piece of paper means anything to Jax, just test it out, and see.... We cut to the Jamboree vignette...

As the show starts, we go to ringside where Jamboree GM Christopher Daniels are standing with The Running Mate Championship Belt. He says that since MJF cashed in the belt for a title shot at Heating Up, the title is now vacant, and it needs another champion to hold it. But, this championship is not like any other championship, as you might know by now. So, how do you crown a new champion when the title is vacated? There are many ways, and sure thing we are going to determine The Running Mate Champion in many ways in the future, but why not just do a tournament this time around? So tonight's show will feature two tournament matches, and next week's show will feature two matches. And what's more appropriate then, to have the finals at Heating Up? But let's not waste time, the first tournament match will be happening right now!

As we get back from commercial we go backstage where we hook up with Orange Cassidy trying to buy a hot dog at one of the food stands backstage when he gets superkicked in the chin by John Morrison. A brawl turns out and food is thrown everywhere. After a while with throwing everything from burgers and ketchup bottles at each other, they get seperated by security and we cut to the ring and our next match of the evening. The commentators do comment on the incident backstage and says that JoMo has been furious of this Orance Cassidy since he turned up in EAM.

We get a promo from Tommaso Ciampa and Moose, who cut's a promo, where they make a point that even if they are not the closest or bestest of friends, they are determined to put everything aside and ally up for Heating Up, because the price of winning that match, to become the #1 contender, and then square off against the champion, being able to become the NEW champion?! There is nothing like it in our industry. So offcourse they are going to co-operate to get there, as both men are aware of, that at Night Of The Slammies, it's every man for himself!

Leah Von Dutch Vs Maria Kanellis

Whoever wins it, Penelope Ford interferes and tries to help Leah Von Dutch win the match.

After the match, we go backstage where we hook up with Charlotte Flair who is about to be interviewed by Alicia Atout when Maria suddenly comes storming by and grabs the microphone out of Alicia's hands, she hogs the limelight and says that everyone should be looking at her, as she is a future EAM Womens Champion in this company. Everything they need to do is to give her a shot and she will prove it. Charlotte then interrupts her, telling Maria to get back when she's fully grown, and let the grown up's handle the main event picture. Maria then gets furious and charges for Charlotte, but Charlotte revers the attack and it ends with Maria being knocked down on the floor, where Charlotte then picks up the microphone and hands it back to Alicia, asking her what she wanted to know, when they get interrupted once again, but this time by the EAM Womens Champion; Becky Lynch. Becky tells Charlotte and Alicia not to let her disturb the interview, she's only here to hear what kind of stupidity Charlotte is capable of saying abour her. Charlotte just shakes her head without saying anything and leaves. Becky then takes her place and makes herself ready for an interview. Alicia is a bit confused by everything, and it doesn't stop there. Suddenly Becky and Alicia find themselves surrounded by The Four Horsewomen of MMA, and Ronda grabs the microphone out of Alicia's hands saying she can take it from her. She then starts to pretend to make an interview with the EAM Womens Champion, but out of nowhere The Jumping Bomb Angels attack the remaning three horsewomen. It's turning into a brawl where in the commotion, the EAM Womens Champion manage to leave un-noticed.....

We go backstage for our next segment where we find ourselves in the office of chairman Emil A. both Kenny Omega and Velveteen Dream are present. What is going on here? Both men has placed their respective titles on Emil A.s desk. The chairman tell both champions that he might have promised both of them that neither would be defending their titles at Heating Up. After all, it's not like it's one of the big six right? And with Night Of The Slammies coming up, and Grandslam 14 after that, he understand that they want just not bigger competition, but also a good match. It's a shame really, that Omega and Dream are on different brands. But you know what, why not forget that just for one night huh? Because Emil A. is pretty curious to be honest, who is the better man inside the ropes. Offcourse, there will be no titles involved. But it would be a shame not to have two of his top dogs not represented. It is a PPV after all. So what do the two gentlemen say? Omega looks and Velveteen and Velveteen looks back. Both men smiles. It seems they are both pretty curious about that question themselves. Emil A. claps his hands and says " it's settled then " one on one, no-titles, at Heating Up! I'm looking forward to it!

As the show is about to close up, we suddenly cut to somewhere else. We find ourselves in a gloomy lit room. Seems like some sort of storage facility or something, with seperate cages where people can store their personal belongings. We then see one the doors are open. Inside is nothing but a rug, and a bowl, sort of like a dogs food bowl. The camera then zooms in on the wall, where someone has been carving in the days. Then someone suddenly grabs the hold of the camera, and we can hear a thump. And everything goes black.... Then we see a date........
