Roman Reigns kicks off Raw

After returning last week to help The Usos defeat Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, Roman Reigns will kick off Raw tonight.





— The show begins with a recap of what happened in the main event of last week's show.

— Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett greet audiences at home as Roman Reigns makes his way to the ring.

Reigns tells Dallas to acknowledge him, but before he can continue, Bronson Reed's music hits and he makes his way to the ring along with Paul Heyman.

Heyman tells Reigns he ruined the entire stick by speaking and invites him to let him show him how it's done. Heyman demands that Dallas acknowledge their "Tribal Thief", then tells Reigns to acknowledge the one man he fears in his heart. He says not once in his life has he ever been beaten to such a degree he couldn't walk to the back on his own.

Reigns says his dad would tell him to fight Reed now, and while Reed looks to fight Reigns, Heyman holds him back and tells him that it's a trap. Reigns tries goading Reed into fighting him, but Heyman continues to whisper to Reed and challenges Reigns to an Australian Street Fight at WWE Crown Jewel on Reed's behalf. Reigns accepts.

Heyman and Reed look to head to the back, but Reigns stops them. He says Heyman and Reed walked in like a couple of tough guys but aren't now, causing Reed to get in the ring and exchange right hands with Reigns. Reed and Reigns look to continue brawling, but officials come to the ring to pull the two men apart.

— CM Punk, Lyra Valkyria, Iyo Sky are all shown arriving to the venue or walking backstage.

— Asuka yells at Adam Pearce backstage. Asuka wants Iyo Sky. Kairi Sane comes in and Asuka tells Sane that tonight Sane will face Sky tonight. Sane starts to cry and says she doesn't want to fight Sky. Asuka yells at Sane and slaps her and Sane tells her she understands and Asuka tells Sane she better win. Asuka leaves and yells at Sane to follow her.

— Back at ringside, Becky Lynch makes her way out. Maxxine Dupri and Akira Tozawa follow.

Becky Lynch vs. Maxxine Dupri

The bell rings and the two lock up. Lynch and Dupri exhange submission holds with one another, but Lynch runs over Dupri with a clothesline and fires off stomps on her in the corner. Dupri fires off right hands on Lynch, then lands a senton on her off the apron. Lynch sends Dupri crashing into the barricade and delivers an Exploder to her, then dumps her back in the ring during the commercial break.

Lynch lands a splash to Dupri in the corner, then connects with another Exploder on her. Dupri lands a backslide on Lynch, but Dupri and Lynch exchange right hands with one another back from teh break. Dupri delivers a knee to Lynch's face and lands a suplex on her, then looks to connect with a back heel kick. Lynch catches it, but Dupri cinches in a Ankle Lock on Lynch. Lynch sends Dupri crashing into the middle turnbuckle to escape.

Dupri delivers a powerbomb to Lynch and pins her, but Lynch kicks out and Dupri ascends to the top rope. Lynch trips her, and the two teeter on the ropes before delivering a superplex to her. She looks to cinch in a Fujiwara Armbar, but Dupri counters into a pinfall to escape. Lynch sets up for the Man Handle Slam, but Dupri escapes and delivers a German suplex to Lynch. She follows it up with a spinning back heel kick and goes for a pin, but Lynch kicks out.

Dupri looks to land a crossbody on Lynch off the top rope, but Lynch counters into a pinfall. Dupri kicks out and pins Lynch with her feet on the ropes, but Lynch kicks out and sends Dupri crashing into the barricade face first.

Lynch hits Dupri with the giant PRIME Hydration bottle at ringside, then gets in the referee's face. The referee begins a ten count, and Dupri beats it while Lynch does not having had her back turned gloating to the crowd.

Winner: Maxxine Dupri (via countout)

— Roman Reigns walks backstage. The Usos are hanging out and they tell Reigns they have his back at Crown Jewel. Reigns says he's good and he doesn't want their help, especially from Jey Uso. He has his own battle to worry about, and Reigns tells him to keep his eye on the prize and asks Uso why CM Punk is on at the top of the hour. Jey leaves all pissed and Reigns tells Jimmy there is nothing wrong with him taking advice from Reigns.

— Lyra Valkyria is warming up and Bayley asks if she can come down with her. Valkyria says sure and they do a handshake and head to the ring.

Lyra Valkyria and Bayley then make their way to the ring. Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez follow.

Roxanne Perez (w/ Raquel Rodriguez) vs. Lyra Valkyria (w/ Bayley)

The bell rings and Perez gets in Valkyria's face. The pair take turns locking in submissions on one another, but Valkyria shoves Perez and Perez responds by slapping Valkyria. Perez delivers a hair whip to Valkyria, but Valkyria trips Perez and wears her down with a submission hold.

Valkyria delivers a kick to Perez's oblique, but Perez uses the bottom turnbuckle to wrench back on Valkyria's arm and delivers a stomp to it. During the commercial break, Perez uses the bottom rope to continue wrenching back on Valkyria's arm. She sends it bouncing off the mat, then continues wearing it down with submission holds.

Back from the break, Valkyria lands a German suplex on Perez and follows it up with a vertical suplex. She goes for a pin, but Perez kicks out. Valkyria then sets up for Night Wing, but Perez counters into a pinfall. Valkyria reverses the fall, but Perez kicks out.

Rodriguez hops up on the referee and distracts the referee as Perez looks to send Valkyria crashing off the apron. Bayley holds onto Valkyria's arm, prompting Rodriguez to run over Bayley with a boot. Valkyria flies to take out Rodriguez, but Perez delivers a Tornado DDT through the middle rope and follows it up with Pop Rox on Valkyria back in the ring for the win.

— Jackie Redmond talks to AJ Styles backstage about his match against John Cena on Saturday. Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor and JD McDonagh come by and bully Styles. Balor tells Styles he's making a mistake if he's coming for the tag titles with Dragon Lee. Mysterio calls Styles a loser and Styles suggests a six person tag match for tonight.

— CM Punk walks backstage and we see Rusev and Adam Pearce yell at each other as Punk makes his way out to the ring after a commercial break.

— Penta is approached by Dragon Lee and AJ Styles. Styles asks Penta to be their sixth man. Penta says he's listening and we hear all this commotion backstage. Camera's pan to Bayley, Lyra Valkyria, Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez fighting. Adam Pearce runs in and screams like a lunatic.

— Back at ringside, CM Punk makes his way out.

Punk says it's great to be alive on a Monday night in Dallas, then thanks the fans for welcoming AJ Lee back to WWE with open arms and says Crown Jewel is right around the corner where Cody Rhodes will take on Seth Rollins for the Men's Crown Jewel Championship. He says he's been absent for the last couple weeks because he promised to stay out of Rhodes' business and was celebrating Wrestlepalooza with his wife AJ Lee. He says he started the year facing Rollins and will end it having beaten him, then says he's earned his World Heavyweight Championship against Rollins and promises to dethrone him as titleholder.

LA Knight's music hits, and he makes his way to the ring. He tells Punk to look in his eyes and asks him what he sees, and Punk says he sees someone who interrupted him. Knight says he's the one who's earned a World Heavyweight Championship match, then says while Punk said some things he's agreed with, Punk still omitted a couple of things. He says Punk is known for the Pipe Bomb Promo, but now he's known for being a husband these days and calls him a trash champion. He says Rollins pinned Punk at WWE SummerSlam and WWE Clash In Paris, but has never pinned him. He says while Punk is a two time loser against Rollins, he's a two time winner against him and the last person to pin him.

Jey Uso's music hits, and he makes his way out. He says he's next in line for a World Heavyweight Championship, but Knight objects and tells Jey that he will never be Roman Reigns. He tells him to focus on the World Tag Team Championship, but Jimmy appears out of nowhere and levels Knight with a superkick.

Punk tells Jey to focus on being a tag team because he loves Jey and not little Roman, and Jey looks to attack Punk. Jimmy keeps the two men apart, but levels Punk with a superkick and heads to the back with Jey.

— A video package for Iyo Sky plays where she tells how Asuka broke her heart and their problems aren't because of Rhea Ripley but because of Asuka.

— IYO SKY makes her way to the ring. Kairi Sane and Asuka follow.

IYO SKY vs. Kairi Sane (w/ Asuka)

SKY delivers a tope suicida to Asuka through the middle rope before the bell sounds, but Sane dumps SKY back in the ring and the bell officially sounds.

Sane fires off right hands on SKY, then looks to fly off the top rope. SKY moves out of the way, but Sane delivers a hurricanrana to SKY. SKY lands on her feet, then looks to level one another with dropkicks. SKY delivers a shotgun dropkick to Sane through the middle rope and delivers a springboard moonsault to her on the outside. During the commercial break, Sane delivers an Alabama Slam to SKY on the ring apron and dumps her back in the ring.

Sane fires off stomps on SKY in the corner, then lands a bodyslam on her. Sane uses the ropes to wear down SKY back from the break, but SKY rocks Sane with a forearm from the apron and ascends to the top rope. She connects with a missile dropkick on Sane and kips up, but Sane lands an Alabama Slam on SKY.

SKY fires off right hands on Asuka as she looks to interfere and Sane sets up for the In-Sane Elbow off the top rope. SKY gets her knees up, but Sane manages to pin SKY as Asuka holds her hand for the win.

Winner: Kairi Sane

— After the match, Sane delivers an In-Sane Elbow to SKY off the top rope as Asuka holds her in place.

— Becky Lynch laughs backstage about losing to Maxxine Dupri. Seth Rollins doesn't pay attention and stress at his watch as Paul Heyman sits behind Rollins. Lynch says WWE doesn't deserve her and she loses her mind about her loss. Lynch leaves and Rollins tells Heyman they need to talk and that he HAS to win this Saturday. Heyman says Rollins will win. Rollins asks what happens if he doesn't win, then what happens. Heyman says that's impossible and Rollins cuts him off and asks Heyman what happens if he loses to Cody Rhodes. Heyman says if Rollins loses he throws away everything they've built, Rollins will lose the locker room and the faith in Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker. Heyman tells Rollins to do himself a favour and not lose. Heyman goes to leave and Rollins stops him and says Heyman left himself out of the equation so what happens. Rollins wants a straight answer and Heyman says if Rollins loses to Rhodes he will have to ask himself why he picked Rollins over Roman Reigns. Heyman leaves Rollins who looks pissed.

— Jey Uso talks backstage with Roman Reigns. Jimmy comes in and Jey asks what he's doing here and why he came out there with him. Jey says he is trying to make it as a singles competitor and now they have a tag match and Jey tells Jimmy he better be on his side. Jey leaves and Jimmy tells Reigns that he and Jey are nothing like Reigns and that Reigns is getting in Jey's head. Reigns tells Jimmy when Jey won the WWE Championship he became more like Reigns and less like Jimmy and tells Jimmy to stay out of his brother's way.

— Back at ringside, Penta, Dragon Lee, and AJ Styles then make their way down. Judgment Day follows.

Judgment Day vs. AJ Styles, Dragon Lee, and Penta

Styles and Finn Balor begin the action. The bell rings and the two go back and forth. Lee lands a hurricanrana on Dominik, and Styles flies over the top rope to level Balor on the outside. Penta and Lee follow suit to level McDonagh and Dominik respectively.

Styles delivers a chop to Balor's chest back in the ring during the break, but Penta tags in and Balor wears him down in the corner. JD McDonagh tags in, but Penta delivers a kick to his head and tags in Lee. Lee delivers a shotgun dropkick to McDonagh, then tags Styles back in. Styles tags out to Penta and holds McDonagh in place for Penta to deliver an Ax Handle to him off the ropes.

Back from the break, Lee whips McDonagh into the corner and delivers a double stomp to him. He goes for a pin, but McDonagh kicks out. Lee looks to fly off the ropes, but McDonagh catches him with a dropkick and tags in Dominik.

Dominik levels Lee with a back kick, then whips Lee into the corner and connects with The Three Amigos to him.

During another commercial break, McDonagh fires off right hands on Lee. Lee lands an elbow on Balor, then sends McDonagh crashing into the mat. Dominik tags in and prevents Lee from tagging out, then wears him down with a submission hold.

Penta tags in and beats down McDonagh, then tags in Styles back from the break. He gets Dominik up on his shoulders and delivers an off the shoulder Blue Thunder Bomb to Dominik. He goes for a pin, but McDonagh breaks the fall. Dominik sends Styles' face bouncing off the ropes and dropkicks him into them, then looks to dial it up for a 619.

Rusev storms down to ringside, forcing Dominik to retreat through the crowd with his Intercontinental and AAA Mega Championship belts. Penta levels Rusev, and Styles delivers a Styles Clash to McDonagh in the ring before pinning him for the win.

Winners: AJ Styles, Dragon Lee, and Penta

— After the match, Styles grabs a microphone and says himself and Cena don't need a story heading into Crown Jewel because everything writes itself. He promises that himself and Cena will leave everything in the ring.

— LA Knight and CM Punk talk backstage and they both agree they don't want to be teammates for the match up next.

CM Punk and LA Knight vs. The Usos



Knight and Jey Uso begin the action. The bell rings and Jey connects with an open palm strike on Knight. Knight responds with a jawbreaker to Jey, then sends him crashing into the corner and fires off stomps on him.

Knight tags in much to the annoyance of Punk as Jimmy Uso tags in on his side. Knight fires off a right hand on Jimmy, then follows it up with a neckbreaker as he counters a verbal suplex from Jimmy. Jey pulls Knight out of the ring and delivers a right hand to him, then sends him crashing into the ring steps.

During the commercial break, Knight fires off right hands on Jey on the outside and sends him crashing into the announce desk. He whips him into the barricade, then wears him down in the ring. Back from the break, Jimmy tags in and delivers a running right hand to Knight as Jey holds him in place. Jey then tags in and flies off the middle rope with a right hand as Jimmy holds him in place.

Punk and Jimmy tag in, and Punk runs over Jimmy with a back elbow and a clothesline. He follows it up with a back kick to him, then delivers a knee strike to him in the corner and runs him over with a clothesline. He ascends to the top rope, then connects with an elbow drop on Jimmy off the top rope and calls for the GTS. Jimmy escapes with some elbows to Punk and levels him with a superkick. Jey tags in and follows it up with an Uso Splash, then goes for a pin but Knight breaks the fall.

Knight delivers BFT to Jimmy, but Punk rolls up Jey. Jey lands a spear on Punk and sets up for an Uso Splash on him but opts to clock Knight on the apron instead. He turns around into a GTS from Punk, but Knight then tags himself in and pins Jey for the win.

Winners: CM Punk and LA Knight

— Knight laughs at Punk as he exits the ring and goes down the ramp-way. Punk stands in the ring and watches Knight leave as the show goes off the air.
