Roman Reigns returns en route to his WrestleMania match against CM Punk

Royal Rumble winner Roman Reigns is set to return to Raw for the first time since declaring that he will challenge World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk at WrestleMania.





— The show kicks off with clips from Elimination Chamber.

— AJ Lee & CM Punk, The Judgement Day (Dominik Mysterio, Liv Morgan, JD McDonagh & Raquel Rodriguez) and Gunther are all show walking backstage.

— Michael Cole and Corey Graves greet audiences at home.

Logan Paul, Austin Theory, and Paul Heyman appear at ringside, and Heyman introduces himself and his two other stablemates. He says someone usually greets the live crowd and fans at home, but says The Vision is here to talk about Seth Rollins. He says Rollins doesn't give credit where credit is due to him for co-founding The Vision, then promises that The Vision will stomp off Rollins' head the next time that he is in the ring. He says it's not a prediction or a spoiler, but a personal guarantee from The Vision.

Theory says he goes way back with Rollins, but he's not moving forward before Paul calls Rollins a scumbag and says he eliminated three people in the 2026 Men's Elimination Chamber until Rollins cost him the entire match. Adam Pearce appears at ringside with several security guards and demands that The Vision exits the ring. He says Rollins should be left to him because he's not medically cleared to compete, but a masked man hops the barricade looking to attack Theory and Paul.

Security chases the masked man away, but a second masked man appears. Paul chases him away from ringside, but a third masked man appears. Theory chases the third masked man away from ringside, leaving Heyman alone in the ring. Heyman reluctantly exits the ring, but stops when he sees a fourth masked man at ringside. A fifth masked man appears behind Heyma with a chair in hand, and takes off his mask to reveal himself as Rollins. Rollins cracks the chair across Heyman's spine, then delivers a Curb Stomp to Heyman.

— We come back from a commercial break and Paul Heyman is being put into an ambulance. Austin Theory and Logan Paul run by in a panic. They're yelling at the medical staff to do something and to help Heyman. Paul is told to get the car and he leaves. A car pulls up and Theory goes to get in and Jimmy Uso comes out of the car and beats up Theory. Uso walks to the ambulance and LA Knight is driving it and says Heyman will get the help he needs and Knight speeds away with Heyman in the back of the ambulance.

— Back at ringside, GUNTHER makes his way out.

GUNTHER vs. Dragon Lee

Lee attacks GUNTHER from behind on the entrance ramp and brawls with him in the ringside area. GUNTHER sends Lee crashing into the timekeeper's area with a back body drop.

During the commercial break, the bell rings and GUNTHER whips Lee in the corner. He fires off stomps on Lee, then looks to unmask Lee back from the break. Lee fires off chops on GUNTHER, but GUNTHER turns Lee inside out with a clothesline. Lee then dropkicks GUNTHER in the ring and looks to fly with a tope suicida, but GUNTHER intercepts Lee and sends him crashing into the ring apron spine first.

GUNTHER levels Lee with a chop to his chest during another commercial break, but Lee fires off right hands on GUNTHER's head. GUNTHER responds with a backbreaker to Lee, but Lee fires off overhand chops on GUNTHER's chest back from the break. GUNTHER catches Lee with a back body drop, but Lee rocks GUNTHER with an enzuigiri and follows it up with a dropkick to him in the corner.

GUNTHER lands a pair of powerbombs on Lee, then pins him but decides to pull him off the mat as a means of continuing to wear down Lee. He powerbombs Lee onto the ring apron and the announce desk, then gets back in the ring as the referee begins a ten count. GUNTHER decides to get back out of the ring and gets Lee back up again, but Lee manages to counter into Operation Dragon.

Lee delivers a tope suicida to send GUNTHER crashing on top of the announce desk spine first. The two men eventually return to the ring following a series of ten counts from the referee, but Lee levels GUNTHER with a clothesline. GUNTHER manages to cinch in a sleeper on him and rops off Lee's mask. Lee taps out.

Winner: GUNTHER

— After the match, GUNTHER keeps the sleeper cinched in on Lee until the referee forces him to relinquish it.

— We then head backstage, where Asuka chews out Kairi Sane for being unable to qualify for the 2026 Women's Elimination Chamber Match. She shoves her and gets in her face, then storms off. AJ Lee checks on Sane and asks if she's good, then tells her to blink twice if she needs help. Sane stares into the void, but comes back to the present when Asuka yells her name.

— Back at ringside, AJ Lee makes her way out.

Lee says she's not entirely sure how she got here, then says she came back to WWE just to take out Becky Lynch but ended up snatching the Women's Intercontinental Championship from her. She says she wasn't sure that she could still go in the ring, but the fans believed in her and believed she could fight the very best. She says Lynch is the best of the best, but she still beat Lynch and says she proved to herself that she can still be championship material.

Lee says now that Lynch is behind her, WrestleMania 42 is ahead of her. She says she's not waiting until WrestleMania 42 because she wants to be a fighting champion, then says it's been 12 long years since she held a title and she doesn't want to take it for granted. She says she mentioned a couple of weeks ago that there are certain people in the locker room that she wants to face, then issues an Open Challenge to any woman in the back for the Women's Intercontinental Championship. She says the next time she stands in the ring, she'll be defending the Women's Intercontinental Championship.

— Earlier today, Penta is walking backstage. OG El Grande Americano wishes Penta luck on his IC Title match tonight and tells Penta he's next in line when Penta wins the IC title. Penta leaves and Los Americanos (El Grande, Rayo, and Bravo) come in and they all argue about who is the original one. OG Americano says he looks forward in taking on one of them tonight.

— OG El Grande Americano makes his way to the ring. Los Americanos follow.

— A video package for Liv Morgan plays where she calls out Stephanie Vaquer. Morgan tells Vaquer that she doesn't know anything about Morgan and that Vaquer doesn't know her struggles. Morgan says it isn't her fault she's a star and that Vaquer had to grind and Morgan just has "it".

OG El Grande Americano vs. Rayo (w/Los Americanos)

The bell rings and the two lock up. OG Grande rolls up Rayo, but Rayo kicks out and OG Grande levels him with a pair of head scissors. Rayo and OG Grande exchange right hands with one another, but OG Grande levels Rayo with a cannonball off the ring apron.

During the commercial break, Rayo whips OG Grande into the corner chest first. The pair exchange right hands with one another back from the break, but OG Grande fires off right hands on Rayo and follows it up with a Russian Leg Sweep. He sends Rayo crashing into the mat and ascends to the top rope, then sets up for a moonsault on Rayo. Rayo tries getting his boot up, but OG Grande catches him in an Ankle Lock.

Rayo escapes and lands a meteora on OG Grande in the corner before the two men teeter on the ropes and OG Grande delivers a belly-to-belly superplex to Rayo. Rayo responds with a diving headbutt to OG Grande and pins him, but OG Grande kicks out.

OG Grande looks to unmask El Grande Americano, but Bravo Americano stops him from doing so. Rayo then looks to take advantage and rolls up OG Grande, but OG Grande kicks out and delivers a rolling German suplex to him for the win.

Winner: OG El Grande Americano

— Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan play darts backstage. Morgan tells Rodriguez to challenge Stephanie Vaquer. Dominik Mysterio asks JD McDonagh if he has Mysterio's back. Finn Balor comes in and says he's not happy with how he performed at Elimination Chamber. Mysterio asks if they'll be there for him for his match tonight. Balor tells Mysterio he has to do this on his own and Mysterio says he was asking if they'll be out there celebrating with him after he wins. Balor says Mysterio can count on him.

— Rusev appears at ringside and says he's tired of listening to everyone talk about Oba Femi. He says he knows Femi can hear him, then says they both want to fight one another and proposes a fight between them now.

Femi's music hits and he makes his way out. He tells Rusev that he spent all this time talking, but says he could get in the ring with him and make something happen. Rusev gets in the ring and stares down Femi before the pair begin brawling with one another. Femi delivers an uppercut to Rusev, then sets up for a chokeslam on him. Rusev catches Femi with a pair of kicks to his head, but Femi responds with a double chokeslam to Rusev. He clotheslines him out of the ring and stands tall.

— We then head backstage, where Lyra Valkyria encourages Bayley to answer AJ Lee's Open Challenge. When the pair look to head into Adam Pearce's office to talk to him, they encounter IYO SKY walking out of it.

— Back at ringside, Jimmy Uso makes his way out. The Vision follow.

Austin Theory (w/ Logan Paul) vs. Jimmy Uso

Uso punches and chops Theory off the bell. Theory attacks Uso and kicks him. Uso kicks Theory and connects with a flying forearm. Uso misses a Uso splash in the corner and Theory punches Uso down to the mat. Theory punches out Uso and punches him on the ropes. Uso strikes Theory and sends him out of the ring. Uso comes through the middle rope and takes out Theory. Theory is thrown into the steel steps and the announce desk. Uso superkicks Theory and then takes apart the announce desk. Theory is superkicked onto the announce desk and Uso climbs the turnbuckle and Logan Paul runs out and Uso takes him down. Theory gets in the ring and Uso spears him and Paul and Theory attack Uso.

Uso punches and chops Theory off the bell. Theory attacks Uso and kicks him. Uso kicks Theory and connects with a flying forearm. — After the match, Paul and Theory continue beating down Jimmy. Jey Uso's music hits, and Theory and Paul wait for him to run out. Jey sneaks up behind the pair and hits Theory and Paul with his crutches before handing one to Jimmy. Jey then lands 1D on Theory with Jimmy.

— We then head backstage, where Danhausen gives Adam Pearce a list of demands including a blimp, a Hall of Fame induction, and his face on all the production trucks. Judgment Day walks by, but Pearce stops him and introduces Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, and Dominik Mysterio to Danhausen. Danhausen then curses Dominik.

— Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY then make their way to the entrance walk way to join Jackie Redmond. Redmond asks Ripley how she feels knowing that she'll face Jade Cargill for the Women's Championship at WrestleMania 42, and Ripley says it's been a whirlwind of emotions after herself and SKY losing the Women's Tag Team Championship this past Friday on "SmackDown". She says SKY has been a lot of different things to her, from a rival to a tag team partner to best friend. SKY responds by telling Ripley that she won the 2026 Women's Elimination Chamber and showed everyone why she is Mami. She says she'll be alright on "Raw", then tells Ripley to handle her business and win the Women's Championship. Ripley then tells SKY to hold down "Raw" for her and warns Cargill she'll be seeing her at WrestleMania 42.

— Penta then makes his way to the ring. Judgment Day follows.


WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: Dominik Mysterio (c) (w/The Judgement Day) vs. Penta

The bell rings and the two lock up. Penta delivers a hurricanrana to Dominik, then dropkicks him out of the ring and flies over the top rope to level him with a Tope Con Hilo. During the commercial break, Dominik rains down right hands on Penta and flies over the top rope and into the ring. He goes for a pin, but Penta kicks out.

Penta catches Dominik with a Sling Blade back from the break, but Dominik responds with The Three Amigos to Penta. Penta catches Dominik with a suplex of his own when Dominik tries going for the third suplex, but Dominik responds by spiking Penta with a DDT on the ring apron. He goes for a pin, but Penta kicks out.

Penta sends himself and Dominik crashing into the timekeeper's area, but Dominik continues to wear down Penta during the commercial break and looks to unmask him. He rips Penta's mask, then fires off stomps on Penta as he's draped off the top rope and lands a dropkick on his midsection.

Dominik sits Penta on the top rope, but Penta fights him off and delivers a dropkick to him back from the break. Dominik catches Penta with a Michinoku Driver, but Penta catches Dominik with a Penta Driver and goes for a pin. Dominik kicks out.

Dominik sends Penta crashing into the ring post shoulder first, then calls for McDonagh to grab the ring bell hammer as the referee checks on Penta. Balor stops McDonagh and grabs the ring bell hammer from him. Penta flies over the top rope with a tope con hilo to level Balor and McDonagh on the outside, then rocks Dominik with an enzuigiri from the apron.

Dominik sends Penta crashing into the ropes and dials it up for a 619, but Penta ducks out of the way and catches Dominik with a Mexican Destroyer for the win.

Winner and NEW Intercontinental Champion: Penta

— Roman Reigns makes his way to the ring.

Reigns tells Indianapolis to acknowledge him, but before he can continue, Punk's music cuts him off and he makes his way out.

Punk asks why Reigns is angry, then says him coming out is less of an interruption and more of an acknowledgement for Reigns.

Reigns asks Punk if his tweet about Elimination Chamber hurt his feelings, but Punk says it doesn't. He says it's a good thing that he has bags under his eyes since he has to carry Reigns to WrestleMania 42, then reminds Reigns that he chose to challenge him for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 42 and says he already won. He says Reigns told him that he hated him the last time that they were in the ring together, then says he has Reigns where he wants him and says he's in Reigns' head and under his skin. He says he can see right through Reigns.

Reigns admits that he does hate Punk, but says if Punk didn't have the World Heavyweight Championship, he wouldn't even be on his radar. He says Punk can claim to be a locker room leader and show himself hanging out with The Usos, but says Punk is just a punk a** b**** to him. He says Punk can teach the next generation how to wrestle, then says he can send them to him on the main roster for him to beat.

Reigns looks to leave, but Punk stops him and reminds Reigns that he took Paul Heyman from him. He says Reigns has always chased him, then says Reigns is main eventing WrestleMania 42 because of him and says Reigns is all alone. He says Reigns can't get things done alone, then says Reigns went from getting beat at WrestleMania 42 to buried. He says he'll bury Reigns next to his father. Punk drops his mic and leaves as Reigns stands in the ring, the end credits start to roll.
