Chelsea Green has wasted no time celebrating a milestone in her recovery, announcing just one week after her heart procedure that she is off bed rest.
Green posted the update on X this morning alongside a photo of flower arrangements sent by friends and colleagues during her recovery week, including one from the WWE: Unreal docuseries team.
"1 week post op – off bed rest! One thing about me: sitting still is my nightmare. Thank you to everyone who called, texted, dm'd, etc. I felt very, very loved this week."
Green underwent an SVT ablation procedure on May 4 to correct an irregular heartbeat known as supraventricular tachycardia, a condition that causes the heart's upper chambers to beat abnormally fast. The condition had gone undetected for a decade before Green suffered an episode around WrestleMania 42 weekend in which her heart rate reached 228 beats per minute and remained elevated for nearly 15 minutes.
Despite being on bed rest throughout the week, Green maintained a presence on WWE programming through a social media video that aired on SmackDown last Friday. In it, she addressed Tiffany Stratton, with whom she has been building an on-screen friendship, and apologized for being unable to attend Stratton's Women's United States Championship defense against Kiana James, noting she had been trying to reach Stratton without success.
Green is a two-time Women's United States Champion, with her second reign running from November 2025 to January 2026. An ankle injury has kept her out of in-ring competition since February, with the heart procedure adding a further recovery timeline on top of that setback.
