Premier League newboys Hull City completed a triple swoop for Plymouth winger Peter Halmosi, Middlesbrough midfielder George Boateng and Fulham goalkeeper Tony Warner on Wednesday.

In a frenzied day of transfer activity at the KC Stadium, Hungary international Halmosi agreed a four-year deal to seal his move for an undisclosed fee, believed to be around two million pounds (2.5 million euros).

That was only the start for Tigers boss Phil Brown as Boateng arrived from Middlesbrough for one million pounds (1.2 million euros) on a two-year contract.

Completing the trio of new arrivals, former Liverpool stopper Warner joined on a free transfer and put pen to paper on a two-year deal.

“The Tigers have today completed the signings of Peter Halmosi, George Boateng and Tony Warner,” a statement on the club's website read.

“The trio all put pen-to-paper this morning to become part of Phil Brown's squad ahead of the club's first-ever campaign in the top-flight of English football.”
