    RAW LIVE Coverage - 19th Jan, 2014
    Location:American Airlines Center , Dallas
Announcers: Booker T, Michael Cole, JBL

Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar walk to the ring and Heyman goes to cut a promo, but Brock cuts right to the chase and tells Seth Rollins to get his ass out there to fight. Brock says it’s time for business since he’s there, and he’s not surprised Rollins is no where to be found right now. Triple H comes out to the ring and says he knows Brock is upset, and Rollins might have embarrassed him, but he remembers Brock suplexing Rollins first. He says they should all calm down and settle things like businessmen, but Brock says if he’s not here to fix it, HHH must be there to fight. Heyman pleads with him to calm down, then Stephanie McMahon walks out with Kane and Big Show and asks to be level headed about this. Stephanie says they are just trying to help, then Rollins appears on the Titantron and says Brock is always two steps behind, but he’ll get his chance to fight him at the Royal Rumble. Heyman tells Rollins to let the adults talk now, and he says they need to fix it before Brock does, because they’ll be faced with a depleted roster if they don’t.

John Cena cuts them off and says they already signed contracts and fought each other, but he actually wants to talk to the Authority right now. He says they wanted Cena to join them, then they wanted to get rid of him, but all he has to say is… keep it up, because it keeps driving him to never give up. Cena says The Authority is cold and calculated, but it’s not fire, they are just piles of ash, and he calls them ‘ash-holes.’ Cena turns to leave but Stephanie cuts him off and says this is a turning point, and he used to be the guy to always rise above, but now Cena is the man who lied to his fans and brought the Authority back. Stephanie says Cena using the word ‘fire’ is interesting since he is responsible for getting three people fired, and no one wants to see Cena win because he’s not the same guy anymore. Rollins calls him a loser and says no one will cheer a failure, then he says the only person who doesn’t know Cena is a loser, is Cena himself.

Rollins says that’s one thing he and Brock can agree on, so he should just tuck his tail and leave, but Cena says he should find the room Rollins is in and kick his ass. Cena says they don’t have to like him, but they will respect him after Sunday, and he wants to sweeten the pot, and says Ryback, Dolph Ziggler and Erick Rowan will get their jobs back when he wins. Triple H says that’s great, but Cena already had a chance last week and blew it, so maybe he’s inclined to go with it, but Cena has to put something on the line too. HHH says Cena will have a match tonight, and the three Superstars get their jobs back if he wins, but if he loses, he forfeits his title shot at the Royal Rumble. Stephanie says he should put his money where his mouth is, then HHH says they will let the WWE Universe decide what he does, not Cena himself, and they’ll see what the fans really think.

    Daniel Bryan vs Bray Wyatt

Bray uppercuts Bryan and whips him, then Bryan kicks him in the stomach and drops him with a knee to the midsection. Bray rolls outside so Bryan dropkicks him through the ropes, then he heads up top and takes him out with a dive. Kane walks to ringside as we go to a break, then we get back to see Bryan send Bray into the corner after a drop toe hold. Bray headbutts Bryan off the apron and whips him into the barricade, then Bray sends him inside and takes him down with a running crossbody. Bray applies a side headlock, then he taunts the crowd before splashing Bryan and hitting him in the corner. Bryan comes back with a clothesline, then he connects with a running corner dropkick before he kicks Bray several times in the chest. Bryan hurricanranas Bray for two, then he kicks him a few more time and hits a suicide dive on the floor. Bryan rolls Bray back in but Kane hits him behind the ref’s back, then Bray kicks him and hits Sister Abigail for the win

Kane attacks Bryan right after the bell and chokeslams him, then he hits him several more times before leaving.

    Winner – Bray Wyatt

Triple H takes a phone call before Kevin Nash and Scott Hall walk in, and they reminisce about old times and Nash asks him to run around with them tonight. Shawn Michaels walks in and says he should actually get on the Legends Panel tonight, then Damien X-Pac-dow comes in and does a bunch of crotch chops. The real X-Pac walks in and has a little fun with it, and they mime each other until The Miz says Sandow is his stunt double, no one else’s. Nash and everyone laugh and he says he can’t believe this is the show HHH runs, and HHH holds his forehead and chuckles along.

Byron Saxton welcomes everyone to the Royal Rumble Legends panel, and panelists Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels enter the ring. HBK and Hulk say John Cena should get to win the three fired Superstars’ jobs back, but Flair says no. They talk about Flair winning the 1992 Royal Rumble and how great it was, then Saxton asks HBK and Hulk about their Rumble wins too. HBK says he thinks Bray Wyatt is the person to win the Rumble this year, then HBK and Hogan exchange some words and resolve it quickly. Hogan says his pick is Daniel Bryan, and Flair says he likes guys that walk on the wild side, and he is picking Dean Ambrose.

Big Show walks out and says he knows why they didn’t pick him to win, and he beat Hulk for the World Title his first night in WCW, and that haunts him. He says Flair was the man, but he took Flair out of his top spot, and Flair hates that, so that brings him to HBK. He says HBK slowly faded out of the picture because he would have eaten him alive, then he calls them all washed up has-beens, begging for attention. Show says he is winning the Royal Rumble, then Flair asks if he is done yet and starts chopping him and wooing, and Show knocks him out. Show says this is their fault, then Roman Reigns enters through the crowd and checks on Flair, then Show says he will get hurt. Show says he will knock Reigns out if he doesn’t leave, so Reigns starts teeing off on him before clotheslining him out of the ring.

Dean Ambrose vs Bad News Barrett

Ambrose connects with a few strikes before Wade hits the ropes and kicks him in the throat, then Ambrose tackles Wade and knees him onto the floor. We get back from a break to see Wade knee Ambrose near the turnbuckles, then he applies a headlock but Ambrose breaks it and hits an elbow drop for two. Ambrose jabs him a few times before Ambrose goes for the ropes, then he tweaks his knee but still ducks a clothesline. He knocks Wade down and heads up top, but Wade crotches him on the ropes and goes for a Bullhammer. Ambrose avoids it but Wade calls for Wasteland, only to have Ambrose break free, and he hits Dirty Deeds for the win.

    Winner – Dean Ambrose

The New Day (Xavier Woods) vs Tyson Kidd & Cesaro (w/ Adam Rose)

Cesaro hits Kofi a few times off of a distraction by Rose, then Cesaro lifts Kofi for a one armed suplex before Kidd tackles Kofi from suplex position for a two count. Kidd applies a headlock but Kofi backs him into the corner and hits him, then Cesaro tags himself in and hits Kofi from behind. He runs across the ring and hits Big E, then Cesaro swings Kofi around and Kidd kicks him before Cesaro goes to a headlock. Kofi breaks it and Cesaro prevents him from tagging out, and he runs Kofi across the ring on his shoulder, but Kofi uses momentum to kick Kidd off the apron and roll Cesaro up for the win.

    Winners – The New Day

The nWo’s Scott Hall, Kevin Nash and X-Pac come to the ring and Hall takes a survey, then Nash plugs the WWE Network and he talks about starting the Monday Night Wars. Nash says they are responsible for everything great ever, then Pac pumps the crowd up before The Ascension cuts them off. Viktor says all he sees is three old dogs waiting to be put down, and Konnor says they’ll be the ones to do it because no one is better than them. He says there’s no one past, present or future better than them, and it’s sure not going to be a WCW tag team to best them, so they welcome them to the wastelands.

Hall throws his toothpick in their face and they all start to talk trash, then JBL tells them to hold up and he has a lot to say about this. JBL says they don’t know anything about being a great tag team, and they can paint their faces and act the part, but he called a former legend he knows very well. JBL reveals he’s wearing an APA t-shirt as Ron Simmons walks out, and they get in the ring, but ‘Oh, you didn’t know?!’ cues up. The New Age Outlaws cut them off and Road Dogg says they can’t have a party without them, and he says they’re all thoroughbreds, but The Ascension are a couple of jackasses. Road Dogg throws the first punch before everyone takes a shot, then JBL hits the ropes and drops Viktor with a clothesline before everyone celebrates.

Triple H and Stephanie ask for a drum roll so a drummer starts doing it, and they announce John Cena will face Seth Rollins, Kane and Big Show, with them ringside. They make a few jokes about the drummer not doing it right and make him leave, then a guy plays military taps on a trumpet.

Paige & Natalya vs Summer Rae

Paige hits Summer a few times before Nattie tags in, and Summer spin kicks Nattie before Alicia hits her in the corner. Alicia hits a Northern Lights suplex for two, then she scoop slams Nattie but misses a cartwheel legdrop. Paige hits some clotheslines and a dropkick off the tag, then she kicks Alicia in the face but Summer breaks up the pin. Nattie throws Summer outside, then Paige kicks Alicia in the face and starts with a Sharpshooter set up before transitioning into the PTO for the submission win.

    Winners – Paige & Natalya

    Rusev (w/ Lana) vs R-Truth

Truth tells Rusev that every flag waving American will be gunning for him in the Royal Rumble this weekend, then he knocks Rusev outside. Rusev comes back with a superkick, then he stomps Truth and makes him tap out to the Accolade.

    Winner – Rusev

Jey Uso (w/ Jimmy Uso) vs The Miz (w/ Damien Mizdow)

Miz kicks Jey and sends him into the corner, then he goes for a Skull Crushing Finale but Jey sidesteps him and Miz goes into the ringpost. Jey slides to the floor and kicks Miz in the face, then he splashes him from the top rope for the win.

    Winner – Jey Uso

John Cena vs Seth Rollins, Big Show & Kane

Rollins hits Cena a few times, then Kane hits Cena a few times and taunts him in the corner. Big Show comes in and Cena tries to hit him a few times, then he goes for a press slam but Show’s weight is too much. Show falls on him and he taunts Cena as we go to a break, then we get back to see Rollins put Cena in a sleeperhold. Rollins hits him a few more times before Show tags in and goes for a slingshot bomb, but Cena rolls away so Rollins comes back in and tries to stomp Cena from the turnbuckles. Cena ducks and tackles Kane to the floor, then he shoulder tackles Rollins and goes for an Attitude Adjustment but Mercury and Noble pull Rollins to the ropes.

Rollins kicks Cena in the face for two, then Cena comes out of nowhere with an AA but Kane pulls him outside to break the count. Show spears Cena as Triple H walks over to look at the damage, then he mocks Cena as is getting counted out, but Cena dives back in at nine. Kane calls for a chokeslam and connects, but Cena kicks out at two so Rollins screams for a tag and sets up for a Curb Stomp. Sting appears on the Titantron and everyone stops what they are doing, then the lights go out in the arena and Sting heads to the ring! Sting stands on the ramp and points down towards Triple H, and the lights come back up and Cena uses the distraction to roll Rollins up for the win.

    Winner – John Cena

Cena celebrates in the crowd with the fans and heads backstage, then Triple H flips out and screams for Sting. He screams that Sting doesn’t belong there, but the fans chant ‘We Want Sting’ as Brock Lesnar makes his way down to the ring. Brock tackles Rollins and lays into him before Big Show and Kane break it up, but Brock knocks Show into the ropes and drops Kane with a F-5. Rollins tries to get back into it but Brock drops him again, then he picks Show up and drops him with a F-5 as Rollins runs for it.

Keeping my expectations for RAW in the cellar tonight - maybe I'll actually be pleasantly surprised.

Hopefully Raw will be good, especially since The Rumble is this Sunday and we're on the Road to WrestleMania.

Bryan vs Bray should be good, their match stole the show at last years Royal Rumble.

Part of me wishes they saved Bryan's first match back for Rumble, but then his music hits and he starts wrestling and forget all about that!

RAW should end with Brock laying out Cena/Rollins.
