    RAW LIVE Coverage & Discussion - 24th Aug, 2015
    Location: Brooklyn, New York
Announcers: Michael Cole, John Layfield, and Byron Saxton.

Triple H was in Stamford, Connecticut earlier today and he says on one of the biggest nights in WWE history, SummerSlam lived up to the hype. Not just because of the Undertaker and Brock Lesnar. It lived up to that hype because of one man, Seth Rollins. Seth says the champ is here.

Hunter says this is what they had in mind when they hand picked him. He stepped into the ring with one of the biggest stars in WWE history, John Cena, he won it all. Hunter says that Seth is not the future of the WWE anymore. He is now the man. Hunter asks Seth if he is ready because it is time for him to take his place among the Gods of WWE history. Are you ready to be next to Bruno Sammartino, The Ultimate Warrior and Andre The Giant?

Hunter says they will unveil the statue tonight and he will get his.

Seth says this is the greatest accomplishment of his career. He thanks and hugs Hunter.

Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar make their way to the ring. There is no Brock Bounce tonight.

Paul introduces himself and he says he is the pissed off advocate of the ripped off conqueror. . . the Beast of the Barclays . . . BROCK LESNAR. What the hell happened here last night? How did we go from Brock Lesnar forcing the Undertaker for the first time in his 25 year career to tap out to a scenario where the history books will inaccurately depict the Undertaker as finally, after all these years, getting a victory over his client Brock Lesnar?

It is an indisputable fact that last night, at SummerSlam, Brock Lesnar took the Undertaker to Suplex City. It is an indisputable fact that last night, at SummerSlam, Brock locked the phenom in the kimura and then take a look at the footage because it is an indisputable fact that he made the Undertaker tap out.

The video does not lie. Paul says that he is a father and it is not pleasant to ruin a fairy tale. The Pavlovian belief that The Undertaker is dead or whatever nonsense he wants to spread is a fable. The truth is that The Undertaker was made to tap out by Brock Lesnar.

Paul says tapping out means that Undertaker said that Brock Lesnar is a better wrestler, fighter, and man than him. He could take it no more. It is like a kid on the schoolyard getting in the fetal position telling you to leave him alone.

How did we get here? Brock does not blame the referee. His client does not blame the timekeeper who freaked out. He understood that Brock . . . Paul mentions that only in Brooklyn do you boo compassion. He had compassion to ring the bell because he knew that Brock was going to rip Taker’s arm off and hit him with it. Do we forget that Taker fell down on his way to the back? Paul says he has enough material for all three hours of Raw.

Paul says the timekeeper rings the bell and Brock thinks he won the match. The Undertaker was saved from a beating. He was helped from having his ass kicked. What did the Undertaker do? He goes for the desperate low blow? He pulls Brock Lesnar down and puts him into Hell’s Gate. Because the Undertaker wants to hear it, craves to hear it, and needs to exorcise his soul from the loss to Brock Lesnar to make him tap out. What was Brock’s response? FYI Taker, Brock told you GFI. You can shoot with anyone in the locker room, but you cannot shoot with Brock Lesnar.

We are not out here to flap his gums. We are out here tonight because he wants to fight the Undertaker one more time.

Paul says he is not here tonight to issue a challenge for Wrestlemania. He is not here for a challenge for Royal Rumble. He is not making a challenge for Survivor Series. He is not making a challenge for Madison Square Garden. He is not making a challenge for Night of Champions. He is making the challenge for tonight. He wants this right now.

Bo Dallas’ music plays and he makes his way to the ring.

    Paul is shocked.

Bo tells Mr. Brock that he has good news and bad news. The bad news is that last night you passed out against the Undertaker. The good news is that you woke up from a dream. It was probably a dream that you beat the Undertaker. You can make those dreams come true. All you have to do is BOLIEVE.

Paul leaves the ring because he knows that it will get messy in the ring.

Brock clotheslines Bo and then Brock with a German suplex. Brock with a second German suplex. Brock picks up Bo and hits a third German suplex. Brock picks up Bo for a fourth German suplex and Bo is not moving, and maybe not breathing.

Brock leaves the ring and walks to the back with Paul, but Paul stops Brock and suggests that maybe he gives him a fifth.

Brock returns to the ring and he picks up what is left of Bo Dallas and he hits a fifth German suplex.

They leave the ring and Paul asks Brock to do one for him.

Brock returns to the ring. Brock get Bo on his shoulders and Paul tells Bo that Brock BOLIEVES. Brock with an F-5.

    We go to commercial.

Bubba tells Devon to . . . GET THE TABLES

Devon gets the table and he brings it into the ring. They set up the table. Woods goes through the table with a 3D.

The Dudleys go to the announce table and have something to say to Darren and Titus.

    We go to commercial.

Brie says she is not talking about last night. She is talking about the past few years.

Alicia asks if she is the wild one. Alicia asks Becky if she knows how many shiny new rookies she has seen come and go in the nine years she has been here.

Becky calls Alicia crazy and the Nene Leakes of the WWE.

Nikki tells Becky Alicia doesn’t have to prove anything to her. They don’t have to prove anything. Wins and losses do not matter because in three weeks and one day, she becomes the longest reigning champion in WWE history. You can keep your SummerSlam win, but all that matters is that she is the champion.

They argue and Miz stops them from talking. Miz tells Paige, Charlotte, and Becky that if you want to revolutionize the divas, you should emulate him. He has revolutionized this business. He says he is looking at a bunch of cackling girls with a hashtag and they wrestle like girls.

Jon Stewart walks in the back.

    We go to commercial.

We take a look back at the return of the Dudleys and they are going to be on Smackdown.

Lillian Garcia introduces Jon Stewart (and John Cena is no longer the most hated Jon to be in a WWE ring).

Jon gets some ‘Thank You Stewart’ chants and he welcomes everyone. He says last night, he did upset some people. He says some of those people are here tonight. Some people were happy. For the people who had to comfort their children and tell them who the little old mean man was and why would he do that.

He did not do it to help Seth Rollins retain the championship. It was not to help the Authority because it was best for business. In his heart, he could not let John Cena tie Ric Flair for sixteen championships because the Champ is Flair. Not on his watch. He wasn’t going to let it happen.

Ric Flair’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring.

Ric says he appreciates what Jon did last night, but he was pulling for John Cena.

Sooner or later, the record will be broken and he prefers that it be done by someone he respects. Flair says you don’t gotta like it, but you gotta learn to love it. Flair says God’s in the house tonight.

Cena says it is time to settle business and he needs to talk with Stewart.

Stewart asks Cena what does he want to talk about.

Cena tells the people to let it out. You did what you did last night because you thought you did the right thing. There are people who agree with what you did. You did not want him to tie the record and he is at peace with that.

Do you realize that Seth Rollins is the WWE Champion and he is the United States Champion?

Stewart says he did not think it through.

Cena reminds Stewart that Rollins has the title that he pried from the hands of Rusev and made sure to make it a symbol of excellence so people could get a main event shot. Names like Ambrose, Neville, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, Cesaro, and Stardust were in those matches.

Stewart says that Cena seems upset. He says he did not think it through.

Cena tells Stewart that this is not a comedy show.

Stewart says it was a beautiful match last night and you did a lot for the United States title and he respects that. As good as you are, I could not see you tying the record against Seth Rollins. He apologizes for not seeing it through.

Cena mentions that the United States and the WWE Championship are in the hands of the Authority. They do not listen to the people.

Stewart suggests that Cena can win the title from Rollins and he can win the fans.

Cena brings up Stewart’s moment when he came out last night and did what he had to do. Cena says he is going to do what he gotta do.

Cena gets Stewart up and hits an Attitude Adjustment on Stewart.

Cena shakes Flair’s hand and leaves the ring.

In case you missed any of the coverage of the end of the Undertaker/Brock Lesnar match and the fabricated controversy, we see how the match ended . . . and then how it really ended.

    We go to commercial.

We are back and Byron Saxton is going to do some cross promotion with Dominos and he has just ordered a pizza by text message.

    Backstage:
Bray says he tried to warn you Roman. He tried to tell you that so long as you walk this Earth and your heart is beating in your chest, I will put you down. You infect everything and everyone around you. Take your so called brother. You have pulled him into our game and he is another pawn to play with.

Last night, the world witnessed your moment of glory. I hope you cherished it because tonight you witnessed HER greatest gift. This is Braun Stroman. He is Abigail’s ‘black sheep’.

    Backstage:
Stephanie McMahon congratulates John Cena for attacking the beloved Jon Stewart. Cena says he is looking forward to speaking with Seth Rollins.

Stephanie says that in order to steal the spotlight, like you always want to do, you will not be here. Stephanie tells John that these security members will escort John out of the arena.

The statue is being brought into the arena and to the ring by a forklift.

We continue the look at the three statues that have been bronzed and honored with a statue.

    We go to commercial.

We are back and there is a giant box in the ring with what we assume is the statue we saw earlier tonight on Raw.

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon make their way to the ring.

Stephanie says that there is a big celebration to be had for Seth Rollins, but there is a big celebration for all you see here. The man who is the Father of the WWE and the man who is celebrating his 70th birthday, her father Vince McMahon.

They sing Happy Birthday to Vince.

Hunter says that Vince is so pissed off in the back.

Hunter says it is time to get down to business. If you are looking for a superstar to immortalize in bronze, you look for something specific. You want somebody who will work harder than anybody else. You want the first to arrive and the last to leave every night. That is because that man has hustle. That man is Seth Rollins.

If you are looking for someone to immortalize in bronze, you want someone who will pay back the people who showed you trust. You want someone with loyalty.

You also want someone who will show respect.

Seth Rollins has all of that and he has one thing that no one else has at this time. Seth Rollins, unlike some people, is a winner. He will do whatever it takes to ensure that he is a winner. Seth Rollins is a winner because he is the WWE World Champion. He is also the United States Champion. That means that Seth Rollins deserves to be immortalized in bronze.

Triple H brings out the man who is no longer the future, he brings out The Man. Hunter brings out Seth Rollins.

Seth thanks Steph and Hunter. He says tonight is an incredible night, not just for him and for you, but for everybody in this building and in the WWE Universe. This is incredible. Tonight, he joins the Mount Rushmore of WWE. The Elite of the Elite. This might be bigger than a hall of fame induction. This is like Monument Park at Yankee Stadium. Babe Ruth, Joe Dimaggio, Mickey Mantle. And whatever you have here to immortalize the Brooklyn Nets. Wait, there isn’t really anyone because they stink.

Seth says he is reminded of an appropriate adage. Heroes get remembered, but legends never die. Last night, in this very ring when he defeated John Cena to become the first man to hold both the WWE and US titles at the same time. At that point, he became a legend.

Tonight, with the unveiling of this statue . . . Seth says that he needs a minute.

Seth says tonight, with the unveiling of this statue, he becomes immortal. He said many things about John Cena and they were well deserved. He called John Cena a disease and he said that he was the cure. He meant every single word of it. There is a reason why John Cena sat at the top of the WWE for ten years. He has worked every day to be the man. Make no mistake about it, for the last ten years John Cena was the man.

To be the man . . . you know where this is going . . . you gotta beat the man. That is what I did last night. He is no longer the future of the WWE, he is THE MAN.

After he headlines Wrestlemania after Wrestlemania, this statue will live on for his legend.

Bruno Sammartino, the Ultimate Warrior, Andre the Giant, and now Seth Rollins.

He cannot wait any more so it is time to see what is under the drapes.

Seth says the Champ is here and then after a drumroll, we see the statue is a life like version of Sting.

Sting punches Rollins and then he connects with punches and chops in the corner and the Vigilante gets ready for the Stinger Splash and he clotheslines Rollins over the top rope and to the floor.

Sting picks up the WWE title belt and it looks like we have an opponent for Seth Rollins.

    #‎WWE‬ ‪#‎RAW‬ Update:

Even though The Undertaker was slated to attend RAW tonight (not sure whether he was actually going to be on TV) but he has returned to Texas this morning after his brutal match with Brock Lesnar.

Speaking of Lesnar, Paul Heyman will be on RAW tonight and I am assuming Lesnar will be as well to speak about the controversial loss to The Undertaker.

WWE shared a video of referee Charles Robinson admitting that he missed Undertaker tapping out and that the timekeeper rang the bell on his own.

Triple H gives Rollins a tour of WWE HQ today and will be shown on RAW tonight:

‎WWE‬ COO Triple H gave the new World Heavy weight Champion and US Champion Seth Rollins a tour of WWE HQ today. Apparantly tonight on ‪#‎RAW‬ there will be a video / segment on this.

Wonder if Rollins will get his statue? lol

Another new appearance on RAW tonight.

During the Ambrose & Reigns vs Wyatt & Harper match, a HUGE cousin it came ouot and knocked out Reigns and Ambrose.

This man is Adam Scherr, an American professional strongman competitor and professional wrestler. He is currently working for WWE under the ring name Braun Stowman.
