Dana White Highly Doubts Georges St-Pierre Will Return

Dana white has his doubts about Georges St-Pierre returning to the UFC. The UFC president said in an interview with the LA Times that GSP’s six-week training camp isn’t going to give him back the hunger to compete.

“I highly doubt it’s going to happen because GSP’s been off for too long and has a ton of money,” White told LA Times. “You don’t do a six-week camp to learn if you have the hunger. You either know it or not.”

“(UFC champion) Robbie Lawler knows it, he’s hungry, he trains like an animal. … You’re either hungry and an animal or you’re not.”

“It’d be great if he comes back, yes, I love Georges St-Pierre — amazing athlete — but comeback talk? I laugh at it,” White said. “To be a world champion, you have to be hungry. … That’s not GSP. Not even close.”

St-Pierre has been on a break from MMA since his victory over Johny Hendricks at UFC 167 in November, 2013.

I guess GSP has to feel the itch for the whole circus the UFC is nowadays along with all the media and pressure, not just competing in the octagon..
