What's Your Opinion on Edge?

The reason why I made this thread is because a lot of people have various opinions on Edge as champion. In my opinion Edge is a well deserving champion and that was BS that he didnt hold it longer last time. This is coming from a Cena fan as well! I love Cena but in all fairness, Edge is much more deserving of the Title right now:

Here are my reasons why:
John Cena was a good champion but he held it for a little too long, its time for a new champion to step up. HHH had his years, Cena had his years, now i think Edge should hold the title for sum time. So many ppl disagree and say that Cena is much better then Edge well put this in your mind:

As Cena is a 2 time WWE champion and 3 time US champion, Edge is also 2 time WWE champion AND a 10 time Tag Team Champion, 7 Time Intercontinental Champion, and 1 time U.S. Champion.

Cena can not compare to those numbers and I am not saying that Edge is a better wrestler than Cena, but come on now, he deserves the title.

I also agree, Edge has been one of the most dedicated inside that ring and he has been one of the consistent face or Heel to do it ease. Edge as Champion Only personifies his hard work and road that he has had to take to get where he is Today. Edge right now is one of the WWE's most valueable commodities and he can be the next ultimate Heel in this industry because he is in a league all his own with his new gimmick and has wrestled in all fields of the business and I will look foward every time Edge has that title around his waist because he has deserved it.

Edge owns. I am a very big fan of Edge, and watched his whole career, from tag team career through to single career. He has deserved this for a long time. I am glad he is wwe champ.

I think Edge is 1 of those wrestlers who will keep the WWE alive when all the older main-eventers(e.g. HH, HBK, UT) are gone. If there is any1 more deserving of the WWE championship (except Booker T), it's Edge. WWE has done an incredible job on Edge IMO, keeping him in the secondary titles- scene for years & years for him to mature in the ring, & giving him the big one when we least expected it. And, kudos to Edge for enduring those LONG years of misuse. He is now ensured a legendary status in the future, just for his experience.

Although it took some real-life screwing for him to reach where he is today, he could have done without it IMO.

I think the ppl who hugely hate and rant on Edge either havent watched wrestling for more than 2 years, or dont realize that wrestling is scripted. What they dont realize is that it's Edge's job to make them hate him, and the fact that they trashtalk Edge so badly, just proves how good of a heel he is.

At first I didn't like Edge, but now he is really starting to grow on me.

He does not need Lita by his side anymore, he is over as a heel, is great on the mic, and he works his butt off. He is easily the best heel on RAW at the moment, and hopefully they will keep the title on him for more than 2 weeks this time.
