Live From Miami, Florida/USA
Show starts with a recap of everything that happened at The Twelfth Of Never. So much happened. Titles changed hands. Controversy. Debuts. History was made more than once. Then suddenly everything goes black and someone wakes up and screams. We can see it is someone in a hospital bed, but we cannot see the persons face because of a bandaged face.
We are in Miami for tonight's show, getting ready to set sail for a one month cruise in the Caribbean with the culmination of Supersplash 8! So much happened last night, so I'm sure the aftermath will have some surprises as well. It's no reason to hold back the action anymore, so we go to ringside where the NEW Womens Champion; Becky Lynch are standing with her title draped over her shoulder, and she cut's a promo on how this had been a long time coming, and how sweet it tastes. And she will do everything in her power to keep this strap. Music suddenly cranks the arena speakers and out on the stage walks Ronda. She puts Becky down, calling her a coward, demanding to get a rematch so Becky can show that she actually can put up a good fight. Music once again cranks the arena speakers and Nia Jax walks out on the stage. Ronda goes for the attack, but Nia counters and easily lifts Ronda up, sending her quickly back down on the stage with a devastating powerslam! She then picks up the microphone that Ronda earlier held and says that everyone who witnessed last nights match saw was Nia is capable of. She put out 4 women at once! She will have no problem putting out Becky. She throw away the microphone and starts to walk down the rampway when suddenly Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Toni Storm and Jillian Hall storms the stage and runs down the rampway, attacking Nia all at once. Nia is put off by the attack, and for some seconds the four girls has the upper hand. Becky is about to leave the ring to help the girls out when suddenly Nia burst out in a rage and all four women are scattered to each direction. Becky gets back into the ring and as Nia walks the last steps down to ringside, Becky gets out of the ring on the other side and quickly makes her way over the barricade and escapes trough the audience. We cut to the EAM vignette with Nia Jax standing tall as the four girls and Ronda are out on the floor and the new womens champion has escaped out of sight.....
Damn you booking Jax insanely strong already. Maybe it should be Ronda vs Jax vs Becky instead.
Tag Team Matchup
Ricochet & Aleister Black Vs Kings Of The North (Damien Corvin & Bonesaw)
Good back and forth action with North looking solid but just not enough for the win as the dominant Ricochet and Black get the win after a 630 and Black Mass.
We get a promotional video hyping up the upcoming PPV, Supersplash. We get to know that the EAM Title wont be defended at the PPV, and that's the first time since the title was created it's not been defended at one of the PPV's known as the big six. It's also announced that the feud between WALTER and Jeff Cobb will end at this PPV, with a stipulation still to be determined.
Singles Matchup
Drew McIntyre Vs Mustafa Ali
World title doesn’t always have to be defended so it’s cool. Maybe the stip will be Falls Anywhere. Good back and forth match in this one even though Drew’s not supposed to wrestle or appear until Grandslam but I guess he can appear now and then so people don’t forget. Ali looks good with some high flying moves but at the end Ali jumps into a Ddt for the 3 count and win.
As we get back from commercial break we go outside the arena and down to the docks where we can see that people are getting ready for a month on a cruiseship. Equipment and luggage are being carried in by staff and other EAM personell. This has never been done before and you can easily feel the tension and excitement among them. We then go back to the arena were the next match of the evening are about to start.
Singles Matchup
Angelico Vs John Morrison w/Taya Valkyrie
Awesome for sure the tour but the main show can only happen on the cruise. Makes it more special. Every show would ruin it. Solid back and forth match with a Lucha Underground feeling to it but at the end Angelico looks for the Kneedrop finisher...
Taya helps Morrison, cheating to get the win, then they take on the microphones after the match. Taya cut's a promo on how she and John are the greatest and most sparkling powercouple in pro-wrestling, and how painful it is to see those two scumbags Jon and Nikki becoming the first ever mixed tag team champions. They are disgusting and are a joke to those titles. She's sure they don't even take showers. So....with the fear of getting all sorts of bacteria and muck on themselves, they challenge Jon and Nikki to a match for those titles next week! Suddenly the titantron starts to flicker and we suddenly see Jon Moxley and Nikki Cross on the screen. They are not present at the building as it seems. They are dressed now in their vacation attire. Jon's even got an hawaiian shirt on. They say that they are already settled on the boat, enjoying a couple of drinks, so they are very sorry they couldn't reply in person. As for their challenge, it's out of the question. They have not settled down on this cruise to work. They are on a vacation, and have no plans turning up on television before Supersplash. As for a match then, it's a whole other issue. But, they dont hand out title matches like that, after all, they just won these titles. And traditionally, to get a title match you have to earn it. So, they got a deal for them. Since John won tonights match, well, with a little help that is, we wan't Taya to win a match next week, against an opponent they choose. If she does, we can start to talk title matches. Before then, Aloah!
John and Taya are left in the ring alone as the video transfer on the titantron ends. They seem pretty annoyed as they leave the ring and we go to commercial break....
All makes sense. Fresh new challengers. Would be funny if Cross was just running back and forth chasing after people in the background while this was happening.
As we get back from commercial break we go backstage where Carlito cuts a promo, telling about how AJ Styles, since he luckily won the WWC Title from Carlito in Puerto Rico he has been putting down the title and WWC in social media. He is a disgrace to professional wrestling, and he never understood why so many fans love AJ Styles. Carlito is entitled to a re-match for the title, and he has a special match in mind. A match that easily can end careers. Very fitting for what Carlito has set his mind on. At Supersplash, Carlito challenge AJ Styles to a rematch for The WWC Title, in a Caribbean Spider Web Deathmatch!
Wow wasn’t expecting that. Think maybe though after Supersplash we should get rid of the WWC title because I’m not even sure the company is around anymore but a rematch makes sense and in the Caribbean.
Tag Team Matchup
Shinsuke Nakamura & Kazuchika Okada Vs The Lucha Bros (Pentagon & Fenix)
Holy crap what a match this is 20 minute back and forth action. High flying and big spots, signature and finishing moves throughout but at the end the new team of Lucha get the win after a flip piledriver on Nakamura.
As we get back from commercial break we hook up with Ornate Prime Champion; Adam Cole and EAM Tag Team Champions; reDragon. Cole congratulate Kyle and Bobby on their win and say that they easily will get time to celebrate as they head to the caribbean. He then tells them he will be seeing them later. As Cole leaves Kyle and Bobby are left alone with their newly won titles when the former tag team champions; Nick and Matt Buck walks into the scene. They congratulate them on their win, but assure them that it wont last long, so they better not get to found of those straps....
Singles Matchup
Seth Rollins Vs Tommaso Ciampa
Good continue build up with the Bucks. Think Cole/Dragon vs Omega/Bucks with a winner takes all belts would be awesome unless an 8 man tag Page/Omega/Bucks vs Strong/Cole/Dragon. Great match in this one with both looking great. Ciampa gets the Project Ciampa for a close 2 but at the end Rollins gets a stomp for the 3 count and win.
After the matchup, whoever wins it, Lars Sullivan storms the ring and beats down both men. Putting down Ciampa first with a devastating clothesline, then putting down Seth with a devastating powerbomb. The show ends with Lars standing tall over the two other guys. Who can stop this guy? Who wants to stop him?
Guess this isn’t a feud just a beatdown which makes sense to make him look strong.
