my thoughts on the GM thing

    Vince? No no no.

The problem with Vince is that he is an authroity figure. And thing about him is when he makes random appearnaces that are really spread out then when he shows up it's something huge, something big, and usually very interesting. IT keeps you wanting to watch to see what will happen and change.

When it's a weekly basis in a feud with other wrestlers (including two main eventers) then it's just blah. Vince has worn out his stay already and needs to take time off of the TV again.

Stephanie - Just no. For one she's pregnant so she'll have to take maternity leave soon and once she is in the clear from all of that it would have been far too long and it just wouldn't feel right.

Shane O' Mac - One likely choice but I dunno. For the short term it is a good idea but in the long run, the longevity of it all Shane could become just another plain face. And besides what really gets people behind him are his matches. Well the ones he used to have like against Angle at King of the Ring. He was head of Heat back when it was on TV and popular and we saw how that went down.

Coach - no. He was a boring annoying commentator and now to be thrust into a big position like that? Nah.

Eric - The former and first GM of Raw. Seems like a real likely candidate. He does the position well. But the only problem there is, he doesn't have that special "it" factor to him anymore. He would be the best choice out of the ones that immediately come to mind but nah.

Foley - Another candidate that could do it and do it well but once again the longevity of it isn't that good. NOt to mention that he is also co holder of the hardcore title that has disappeared from WWE TV. SO if he were to you know he'd have to play favoritism to Edge. And if he turns on Edge then that'd make him face and him as a face GM wouldn't be entertaining so I don't think it would work too well.

Hogan - Simply no. I cannot begin on why I couldn't see him as one.

Flair - Did it as co owner but it works better when SmackDown! and Raw are actually competing against each other... Right now it's just WWECW vs. Raw and SmackDown! is all alone. That wouldn't help Flair cause that really made it good. If he was GM it wouldn't be that interesting.

Jericho - Now him returning and becoming new GM is about the only sensible answer. He would have no feuds, no affiliations, he has massive charisma, very well known. And he has skills in the ring in case he gets challenged.

So to me only Jericho is the sensible choice
