JAMBOREE
Live From Hammerstein Ballroom, New York City/USA
Show starts with a recap from Swimming With Sharks 8 where we see the highlights of what went down. Surely not all feuds are over and the backlash of the PPV will come tonight. It's been a few days, and we are back in New York and Hammerstein Ballroom, who's been working as EAM headquarters for the last 10 years, since Emil A. bought it (because he thinks it's the greatest wrestling venue in the world) The tension is high, as there is surely things to be unraveled tonight, with everything that happened, not to mention everything that probably will happen. Let's waste no more time. Welcome back to Monday night Jamboree from The Hammerstein Ballroom in New York! We cut to the Jamboree vignette…..
Singles Matchup
Willie Mack Vs Moose
Good opening match with some big bumps and spots. Mack tries to look for some big moves but just not enough for the win as Moose hits the rolling spear for the 3 count.
Chairman Emil A. adresses Drew McIntyre's outburst at Swimming With Sharks in a video made in his office. He tells McIntyre that he does not tolerate this kind of behavior, and does he need to remind Drew that he is on a contract? And the consequences it will have if he breaks that contract? Emil A. will make sure he wont wrestle for anyone else either if he walks away now. As for a compensation, and bit of a punishment, Emil A. has decided that Drew will take part on the upcoming PPV from Syria. Where he will compete in a Scramble Match to determine the first ever CrossPromotional Champion!
Singles Matchup
Alexa Bliss Vs Nia Jax
Wow I guess Drew didn’t quit after all but he was injured so guess that was faked. Pretty fun match with the David vs Goliath feel to it. Both won matches at the PPV but Alexa has to be hurt from that match. Bliss misses her finisher which leads to a Jax splash from the top rope for the win.
After the match, Nia Jax is standing alone in the ring when suddenly music cranks the arena speakers. It's not a music that the fans are familiar with, but she gets a big pop when she enters the stage and everyone sees who it is. It's Piper Niven! The new girl that everyone knows is a personal favorite of chairman Emil A. She makes her way down the rampway with a determined look in her face. She walks around the ring and grabs a microphone before entering the ring. Jax are standing all still. It's almost as Jax respects her. There is no mockery in her face.
Piper: You might not know who I am, but I know who you are. I am Piper Niven, and I am one of the new girls around here, just like you. But that's where the similarities between you and I ends. You see, you might think you are a force in this ring. But that's because you never faced me. So I am here to challenge you for a match next week. I mean, if you're up to the challenge. After all, it will be your first loss in EAM. Not something you want on your sheet if you want a chance on Becky's title.
Jax goes for the attack, but Piper gets out of harms way and counter attacks. She sends Nia into the ropes with a thunderous shoulder tackle, and when Nia bounces back from the ropes, Piper grabs a hold of her and delivers a bodyslam! Piper actually lifts Nia from her feet! How the hell did she do that? Quickly, before Nia recovers, Piper rolls out of the ring and makes her way up the ramp. We cut to commercial with Nia and Piper's eyes meeting. Nia accepts……..
We see a promotional video for the upcoming PPV; The CrissCross Collision, that will be a one night only PPV spectacular, not just to promote the sport of Pro wrestling, but to celebrate it. Almost 20 different promotions will either take part of the event or be tributed in a way during the night. And it's all going to happen in one of the most unlikely places on earth. From Damascus, Syria! Three of the matches on the card has already been made official. Dan Maff Vs Jamin Olivencia, Timothy Thatcher Vs Johnny Gargano, and Young Bucks Vs A Trio that still has to reveal themselves. But a fourth match is just made official during the promotional video. And it's a dream match for probably most wrestling fans, as four Legends bound pair, to battle it out in what will be a tag team match for the history books, as The Great Sasuke teams up with Jushin Liger to take on La Parka and Blue Demon Jr.!!!
Intergender Tag Team Matchup
Becky Lynch & Seth Rollins Vs Joey Janela & Penelope Ford
Wow Viper vs Jax. Should be a tough choice. Don’t think Jax is ready for the women’s title yet though. More of a 1 feud after next destruction type role right now and Becky is feuding with Charlotte. Huge matches for the show for sure. Gonna be some weird ones also. Big tag match here which goes 15 minutes. They were screwed at the PPV so makes sense for it to happen here. Double team work and high flying moves but at the end Rollins takes out Janela with the God’s Last Gift as Becky makes Ford tap out to the armbar for the victory and some revenge. No sure if this feud is over. Becky is celebrating in the ring...CHAIRSHOT FROM CHARLOTTE TO THE BACK OF BECKY. This one isn’t over. Still some unfinished business.
We go backstage where we hook up with The Four Horsewomen of MMA, who's in good mood after their victory at Swimming With Sharks. The laughter calms however when Charlotte Flair walks by still holding the chair. Neither of the girls say anything, but they are all eyeing each other. When Charlotte has left, Ronda say something insulting about Charlotte, then she and Shayna leaves, leaving Marina Shafir & Jessamyn Duke. Then suddenly Sasha Banks and Bayley walks up to them. The four women have a face-off, but neither say anything. We then cut to ringside....
Singles Matchup (Non-Title)
Adam Cole Vs Cody Rhodes
Remember Charlotte is a bad guy now, Sasha/Bayley good, Becky good and it was a clean sweep at the PPV. Maybe the Horsewomen of MMA could go after other belts or women’s tag title in the future. Good match in this one which goes 10 minutes. Cody wants to make up for the PPV. High flying and back and forth spots but at the end the Cross Rhodes for the 2 count. Of course Dragon lost the titles so Era only have one belt left. Cole nails the Panama Sunrise for the 3 count and win.
We get back from commercial and are about to start our main event of the night, that is scheduled to be Lucha Bros defending their newly won EAM Tag Team Titles against reDragon, as they cashed in their rematch clause. reDragon enters the ring first, but when Lucha Bros' music are about to crank the arena speakers, another song comes instead. It's Young Bucks making their way to the ring instead. Kyle and Bobby are clearly upset by this. Bucks makes their way to the ring where they gesture for a couple of microphones. They then do the honors of telling Kyle and Bobby that Fenix and Pentagon are not present tonight, as the chairman himself gave them the night off. So, that's why they are here. After all, they deserve a title shot more than reDragon anyway. How long did they hold the titles for? Not that long was it? This makes Kyle and Bobby angry, and when the ringmaster rings the bell and the match are official, they go straight at Bucks.....
Tag Team Matchup
reDragon (Kyle O'Reilly & Bobby Fish) Vs The Young Bucks (Nick & Matt)
Phew was hoping this kind of match wouldn’t be wasted on a show. Could be a huge 3 way in the futur. Good 15 minute showcase of two of the best teams in the world. High flying and double team spots...
During the match, Ricochet and Aleister Black interferes and it's a beatdown in the ring, and it results in a no-contest. Black and Ricochet are angry because they surely are the ones to get a tag team title match next, and still these buffoons are hogging their limelight. The show ends with Ricochet and Aleister Black standing tall over reDragon and Bucks, sending a message to the newly crowned EAM Tag Team Champions......
Oh nice twist and yea guess they deserve a shot. Tag team division is on fire right now.
