2006 has thus far been a tough year to judge. 2005 was obviously John Cena, holding the title for almost a year completely, 2004 was a lot of Triple H and Evolution.

i have to say with everything he's been through by a little nudge Cena.Love him or hate him you gotta respect what he's been doing so far. #2 Edge because he seems to wait for the best moments to get his. he's also gotten better through this year. #3 and last i putmysterio because of the loss of eddie everything he went through to get the title and finally getting and still going through hell. (the only knock on mysterio is that RKO beat him for his WM shot and he was handed the spot in the main event)
