    EPISODE #006

" If you win the rat race, you're still a rat. "

    *****

Today's Password; " We miss you Chris Candido... "

We get a promo video from the man known as " The Hammer " Shaun Davis. He talks of the concept EAM Underground, and how he's been standing on the galler for weeks now, supervising the wrestlers. None of them has made a big expression to him. Not even the man they call " The Irish Devil " Douglas O'Shea. He might seem impressive, but the fact he's had such a success so far is that he's only faced bush-leagues opponents. But that will change at next week's main event...

We are ready with another episode of EAM Underground, with Homicide and Kingston still at the announce table and Madi Maxx ready in the ring to announce our first bout.

    Singles Matchup
    Dan Moloney Vs Deno Babic

Our first matchup is between two debutants. Moloney has wrestled for most british indy promotions. Not much is known about the hungarian Deno Babic, but that doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing. As the bell rings both performers are eager to start. Fast paced action from the get go as they exchange moves in the middle of the ring. Back and forth as both men throws punches before Deno goes for a more extravagant move. And he fails, Moloney counter-attacks and sends a right hook Babic's way. That has a great impact behind it! Babic goes down and Moloney does not hesitate. He covers, and the blow was more enough to keep Babic down for the three count. That ended quickly! Almost like a MMA match. A good debut for Moloney. babic, not so much. But not everyone can win their debut match.

    Singles Matchup
    Anthony Henry Vs Maggot

Our second match of the night does not last much longer than our first match. Both men lost their first matches here in EAM Underground and really need a win here. It's Henry who seemingly wants it more, as he dominates from the start. Maggot gets some moves in, but it's mostly Henry getting in the offence. Henry sets Maggot up for a Texas Cloverleaf and manage. This could easily be it. He bends Maggot's back in a harsh way. But Maggot manage to get out of the hold and kicks Henry off. He quickly gets back on his feet and charges for an attack. Lariat knocks Henry down, but he quickly gets back up. Another Lariat from Maggot and Henry once more goes down. Maggot now with his own submission as he locks in a sharpshooter variant. The tables suddenly has turned. But not for long. Henry gets out of the hold and gets back up. Exchange of punches before Henry gets the upper hand. He irishwhips Maggot towards the ropes. At the backfire Maggot gets knocked down by Anthony who wasted no time. He climbs the ropes and leaps off in a homage to the late Eddie Guerrero. Five star Frogsplash by Henry on Maggot! He makes the cover 1.....2....3! A much needed win for Henry. Maggot loses his second match in a row.

    *** Main Event ***
    Singles Matchup
    El Generico Vs Austin Theory

The main event almost goes the distance of the 30-minute time limit. It's a execution of flashy moves and back to back chain-wrestling as both men shines in what might be the greatest main event in EAM Underground so far. This re-vamped version of El Generico almost seem like him back in the old days, and the speculations are still going around if it is really Sami Zayn underneath the mask, or someone else. Austin Theory does not really seem affected by last week beatdown by Generico either, as he pulls of one move after another. Backbreaker into a standing moonsault for the pin, but Generico kicks out at the two count. Fisherman's suplex onto the knee, followed by a cutter. He covers once again but Generico once again kicks out at the two count. Both men back on their feet continuing with some punches and kicks back and forth until Generico goes for the ropes. Helluva kick sends Theory down and Generico wastes no time going for the turnbuckles. 450* splash onto Theory and he makes the cover, but Theory is the one to kick out at the two count this time. He grabs a hold of Theory's arm and lift him up, bug Theory gets out of the hold and goes for the ropes. But Generico counter attacks and once again Theory finds himself on the wrong side of the impact as Generico dropkicks Theory with such a force that he stumbles trough the ropes and falls down outside the ring. Generico is all pumped up and makes a go at it. He goes for the ropes for some speed. Suicide Dive trough the ropes connects! The match then continues outside the ring for some time but are taken back into the ring when Theory rolls Generico back in after sucessfully avoiding one of Generico's attacks and reversing it, sending Generico into the steel steps. Theory goes for the cover but Generico reverse it into a cradle-pin. Theory barely manage to kick out before the three count. Homicide and Kingston on comentary then informs us that this match has passed twentyfive minutes. It doesn't seem like anyone is going to win this affair. But then, almost out of nowhere, Generico sends a yakuza kick Theory's way and connects. He lifts Theory up in quick fashion. Spike Brainster! He covers 1....2....3! Generico picks up the win in this insane back and forth spectacle. Not a bad showing for Theory, but in the end El Generico pulled the longest straw. But this is just the first battle in a upcoming war it seems. After the match, as Generico celebrates, Theory attacks him from behind and nails a backstabber variant. He then sits over the downed Generico and throw punches at him before trying to rip off his mask. But then the lights in the arena goes out and the laughter that we have been hearing for the past weeks starts again. Higher and more intence this time, but after a some seconds it stops and the lights gets back on in the arena. Theory is now alone in the ring as El Generico maneged to get out of the ring while the lights was out. His mask is ripped apart, but we can still not see if it is Sami Zayn or someone else underneath there. This episode of EAM Underground closes with Theory in the ring, pointing at Genrico, making a cut throat gesture with his finger...
