Episode #187 - Taped in Time and Space...
Show opens with some backstage footage where we see a heated discussion between tag team partners Willie Mack and Rich Swann. It seems they are arguing about their progress as tag team, or the lack of progress or whatever. Both men are blaming the other, and it ends with punches being thrown, but security manage to seperate them pretty quick. We then get the announcement that tonights main event will be Willie Mack Vs Rich Swann. We cut to the Pride vignette.
Makes sense.
Callis and Regal welcomes us to episode number 187 of Pride, and as usual, they don't waste the fans time by speaking in front of the camera (as they do enough of that behind camera during matches) so Mandy, take it away!
Singles Matchup
Chris Bey Vs Alejandro Saez
Pretty solid match from both guys. Both look solid with high flying bumps. Lot of smaller guys nowadays. Lot are the same. Bey gets the win after a rewind 450.
As we get back from commercial break, we get the official announcement regarding Killer Kross' next title defence. It will be at the upcoming; At Gunpoint ppv, and it will be against four other contestants, in a Scramble Match!
Makes sense for opponents.
Singles Matchup
Bryan "Rage" Rivera Vs Shane Mercer
Mercer gets his usual powerful style in. Back and forth action from both men. Mercer with the top rope Fallaway Slam Moonsault for the 3 count and win.
Bear Country promo up next as they talk about the match they had against Otis and Tucker, and how near they had been. But, they are granted another chance. At the upcoming; At Gunpoint ppv, Bear Country has been granted a second chance of beating Heavy Machinery for those tag team titles. And this time, they won't settle for near or close. Because they are going for gold!
Make sense.
Singles Matchup
Willie Mack Vs Rich Swann
Big 20 minute main event from both men. Hard shots, high flying and some comedy but mostly serious shit. Mack with elbow, rock bottom for a 2. At the end of the match Swann Dive for the 3 count and win.
