Live from Hammerstein Ballroom, New York/USA
We get a recap, showing the highlights from the last couple of months as EAM has been travelling Norway and Sweden, hosting two of the biggest shows of the year. And what shows it was! Tonight we are back at EAM headquarters as usual, for yet another episode of monday night Jamboree, and in two weeks, we will be live from Silicon Valley and San Jose, as EAM brings back an old EAM PPV; CYBERSLAM!
We cut to the Jamboree vignette...
Show opens with general manager Randy Orton walking out on the stage, then making his way down the ramp, getting a good reaction from the crowd. Orton makes his way into the ring where he adress the crowd, then saying how good it is to be back home. He then goes serious, talking about how he's done anything possible in company. EAM Champion, EAM Tag Team Champion, current general manager, EAM Hall of Famer, the list goes on and on and on... Orton is really bragging at this point, but surely he has reasons to. He then talks about how he's defeated almost everyone in the business worth speaking of, and now, his latest conquests, The Rock and " Stone Cold " It's almost as if destiny wants him to re-live his career in a way, as " The Legend Killer " puts yet two more names on his list. Speaking of, Orton wants to give the EAM fans a chance to determine which " Legend " he should beat next, because to be quite honest, Orton feels on top of the world at this point! (Beware MJF!) So, Orton wants to give the EAM fans the chance to choose any Legend that Orton hasn't beaten, YET! (Log onto EAM's website to vote)
Makes sense. Orton more of a heel though especially after the PPV and would have bite marks on him.
Triple Threat Matchup
David Benoit Vs Ricky Starks Vs Orange Cassidy
Pretty entertaining match as we get an announcement that this show is dedicated to Hitler. Back and forth action. Stuff and moves. Starks with a springboard 836 the 2 count. At the end after an Orange Punch and Donkey Punch it’s Starks that get the win after a powerdriver.
EAM Center of Attention Champion; Bayley is in the ring as we get back from commercial break. And she's furious! She shouts and yells for justice, as she beat Mickie James 1...2...3! Clean! And now she's not going to retire?! How many times is she going to decieve the fans? Bayley starts to understand what Travis Gerweck was talking about when he said that Emil A. and Mickie always did what's best for them, not for the entire company. The fans starts to chant " EAM, EAM, EAM " and Bayley only gets more annoyed, asking them if they can't see how they are being fooled? Bayley demands retribution and justice! And she demands that someone takes the responsibility! She gets interrupted then, as music cranks the arena speakers.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ptz2quM8bmc . Ronda walks out on the stage, getting a big pop from the audience. But Bayley goes " hey hey hey, hold on there, hold on " Bayley makes a point that she's already beaten Ronda. She's got nothing to prove. Ronda then asks Bayley if she wanted justice? If Bayley wanted retribution? Ronda wastes no time then and gets into the ring. And before Bayley manage to escape she find herselves knocked down by Ronda and put in a submission move. Ronda grabs a hold of Bayley's arm and bends it while screaming to Bayley that she will get her justice allright! But Bayley manage to get a hold of her championship belt and slaps Ronda in the face with it. It's enough for Ronda to release the hold and Bayley to roll out of the ring and out of harms way, for now. She leaves the title in the ring but leaves up the rampway. Ronda picks up the title and looks at it before she picks up the microphone from the canvas. Bayley has reached the stage at this point. Ronda then tells Bayley how nice it will be, to invoke justice, breaking Bayley's arm, hearing Bayley scream in pain. Taking the title from her as well will be just like the frosting on the cake! Bayley does a obscure gesture to Ronda and does not see that someone has walked up behind her. Bayley then turns around to leave for the backstage. BAAAM! Chick Chick from Mickie and Bayley goes down! Segment ends with Ronda holding The Center of Attention Championship in the ring and Mickie standing over Bayley, who's lying down on the stage.
Makes sense. Wonder if there’s gonna be a gimmick. Handicap or a tag could happen. Maybe a 3 way.
We cut to the backstage where we hook up with The EAM Tag Team Champions; Lars Sullivan and Braun Strowman, better known in EAM as Freaks Among Monsters. They are in a good mood, because they retained their titles against Hafthor and Hall, and they are talking about it right now, as they give Hafthor and Hall some good letters of reference after their performance. Keith Lee walks by then and he congratulate them on retaining their belts, they thanx and say they are sorry they cannot say the same to him. But, if Keith manage to find a tag team partner, they can guarantee Lee a shot at the tag team titles. Lee thanx and says he will remember that. We cut back to the ring for our next match.
Very strange promo. FAM are clearly heels. Hopefully done in mockingly way.
Singles Matchup
Tessa Blanchard Vs Candice LeRae
Back and forth worked contest. Candice with a ballsplex. Tesseract and a back breaker for a close 2. At the end Candice looks for a moonsault but Tessa catches her into a tombstone piledriver for the 3 count.
We go backstage then where Darby Allin and Jimmy Havoc is not pleased with each other as of late. They are shouting at each other, throwing insults about the other one holding the other one back etc. They go at it and has to be broken apart by Jon Moxley, who's not pleased with their behavior. Then EAM Television Champion; Triple C and his tag team partner AJ Styles walks by, and as we know, they've had their own issues as of late, not to mention Triple C beating Styles two days ago at Fight For Glory. Triple C are telling Styles to keep away from tonights match. We cut back to the ring...
Tag Team Matchup
The North (Ethan Page & Josh Alexander) Vs Ultraviolent Society (Darby Allin & Jimmy Havoc)
Okay match but neither of these teams have been great. More problems between Allin. At the end of the match Page pins Havoc but Allin attacks and beats down Havoc after the match!. I guess that team is over. Maybe a match at Cyberslam. I even know the perfect gimmick.
As we get back from commercials we go backstage where we get a promo from John Morrison where he mocks Killer Kross, after being squashed by WALTER. He's sitting in a sofa in front of a TV watching the match on replay. He rewinds to watch the end of the match and laughs. He rewinds again, and laughs. Rewind...Rewind...Rewind...
Hmm. Better be careful. WALTER might find him.
EAM Television Championship Matchup
Triple C (c) Vs Mike Bailey
Awesome match from the both of them. 20 minute match from the both of them. Signature, finishing moves. Corkscrew 630. Uppercut and a Neutraliser for a 3. Speedball looks good though.
We get a Pentagon Jr. promo next. He talks about his match some weeks ago against Ultraviolent Society's leader; Jon Moxley (The match which ended in a time-limit draw) He then challenge Moxley to a rematch next week. Not many people in this company has managed to earn Pentagon Jr's respect, but Jon is one of them. But make no mistake about it, even tough Pentagon respects Moxley, does not mean he's not going to beat him to a bloody pulp! Zero Miedo!
PPV worthy match. Maybe number 1 contender would make sense actually.
We get a promotional video for the upcoming EAM PPV next which will be the sixth installment in the Cyberslam series, and it will be live from San Jose, California. We then get information about how to vote, for example on which of the four ECW tag teams that should face Heavy Machinery for The Pride Tag Team Championships, or who Aaron Steven's opponent should be, OR....what Legend you want Randy Orton to face next... We then cut back to the arena for our main event of the evening, and this is a clearly anticipated one, as we already know that if Grandslam 17 will be from Japan, we will get a 4-Way match between Kenny Omega, Marty Scurll, Jay White and Prince Devitt, to determine the ultimate leader of The Bullet Club. Melissa, take it away!
Awesome should be fun.
Singles Matchup
Jay White Vs Prince Devitt
Awesome main event. Guess this is a preview since White isn’t with EAM. Back and forth action, high flying, signature and finishing moves. Devitt stomp. Bloody Sunday but at the end the Straightjacket lariat gets the 3 count.
