Episode #213 - Taped in New York/USA

Brian and Nigel welcomes us to another episode of friday night Pride, still without Aaron Stevens! We've got a very interesting main event for you tonight, but we also have a very interesting tag team coming up tonight, as two new tag teams will be showing themselves off. Maybe they are future EAM wrestlers, who knows? Let's waste no more time on babbling. Mandy, take it away!

Singles Matchup
Chad Gable Vs Sammy Guevara

Pretty good match from both guys. High flying and signature move spots. At the end of the match it’s Sammy that gets the win following a 630 splash.

We go Backstage where we hook up with The Steiners. Scott and Rick tell Rex he's right, and they will settle this like real wrestlers do. But then they ask him what he's going to do. Rex smiles, then he tells them he will be participatig in the slobberknocker matchup!

Should be fun. Bron was one of my surprises.

Tag Team Matchup
Top Flight (Dante & Darius Martin) Vs The Tate Twins (Brandon & Brent Tate)

I do kind of like Top Flight regardless of the BLM shit. Back and forth action from both teams. Just a spot monkey fest really but at the end it’s Dante that gets the 3 count following a SSP.

We go backstage where we once again hook up with JBL, Farooq and The Pride Tag Team Champions; Heavy Machinery. They are in the middle of a wild game of Texas hold em' and they are all seemingly under a buzz, taken into account their good mood (and all the empty beer bottles on the table and the floor) then all of a sudden, Otis accuses JBL of cheating with the cards, this offcourse leads to a scuffle, whereupon Otis declares that another tag team just made their list!

More build up for the match. Bar brawl before the PPV would work.

Singles Matchup
Winner Gets A Spot In The Slobberknocker Match
Shane Mercer Vs Odyssey Jones

Hard hitting match from both guys. Big powerful moves also. Jones with his finisher but doesn’t work. Mercer gets the win following the fallaway moonsault from the second rope wow for the 3 count. Mercer could be an underdog in that match even though he wanted Stevens.
