^^ That was a funny romp, but as I was expecting, a bit outdated. An epileptic robot as a sidekick was pretty weird, but I guess there are reasons revealed later. Basicly the story centers around Rod, who works for a company on old Terra (Earth) to make sure that every planet in the universe are following democratic rules and laws. He ventures to a uncharted planet named Gramarye, which are stuck in medieval times, believing in elves, witches, evil spirits etc. Rod is then believed to be a Warlock, since he knows so much about science, an art that is very unknown to the inhabitants of Gramarye.

So, guess it's time to start on book number 2, which is the shortest in the series it looks like. The story behind this book is pretty weird as well, as Christopher Stasheff wrote the original script for this book back in 1971, but after release he was so dissatisfied, that he re-wrote the whole book over 10 years later.
