Trinity could be the next IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion, if she emerges victorious at the upcoming Slammiversary event.

The former WWE Superstar arrived in IMPACT Wrestling last month, close to a year after walking out of the May 16, 2022, episode of Monday Night Raw. So far, Trinity has remained undefeated in her time with the company so far.

During the June 1, episode of IMPACT on AXS TV, Trinity defeated Savannah Evans and called out the champion Deonna Purrazzo. Purrazzo (another WWE alum) obliged and after being challenged to a title match for Slammiversary, said "Let's dance." The face-off between the two was cut short when Evans, alongside Gisele Shaw and Jai Vidal, attacked both the IMPACT Knockouts Champion and her challenger.

Slammiversary 2023 will take place on Saturday, July 16, in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The show will see an IMPACT World Championship defense by either Steve Maclin or Alex Shelley. Maclin, the current champion, will defend the title against Shelley at Against All Odds on June 9.

Either Shelley or Maclin will face the winner of the first-ever 8-4-1 Match, which will also take place at Against All Odds. The match will see eight wrestlers compete in an eight-man tag team match, with the winning team advancing to a four-way match. The winner of the four-way will challenge for the IMPACT World Championship at Slammiversary.
