Slammiversary is in the books and we have a lot of fallout to get through as a lot of titles changed hands that night. We have a new X Division champion, a new Knockouts champ and new tag champs! Alex Shelley may have defended his World Championship….but Josh Alexander is knocking on the door to get back the title he never lost.

Scott D’Amore kicks off the broadcast in the ring to thank the crowd (who thanks him right back) for having his back at Slammiversary when he was able to close the book on Bully Ray. And he announces that he is BACK from his leave of absence as President of Impact. He announces Dirty Dango vs Santino Marella! We’re getting words from Josh Alexander! Bey & Austin get their rematch for the tag title against Sub Culture. The Windsor Ontario crowd is eating this up. But first…..Jake Something is coming back…he’s about to announce the match as The Good Hands are out here to interrupt Scott and they clearly want to give him a beating after he embarrassed Bully Ray…..Scott takes off his jacket. He says The Good Hands can absolutely have a fight….with Rich Swann & Sami Callihan!

Rich Swann & Sami Callihan vs The Good Hands (John Skylar & Jason Hodge)

Good Hands are getting beaten early but they get the numbers game on the outside and isolate Swann as Sami is dropped on the floor. Blue Thunder bomb! Sami saves the pin, Rich rallying back with a double clothesline. Tag to Sami and he runs wild on the Good Hands. Hodge blocks the Cactus Driver 97 but runs into a DVD. Skylar breaks up the pin but he get tossed. Double crucifix bomb from Swann and Callihan for the pin.

Winners: Swann & Callihan

Backstage with Chris Bey and Ace Austin. They are unhappy they lost their tag team championships in a 4-way match. They are planning to take the titles back tonight…cue the Rascals, who get in their face and stake their claim for a shot at whoever is left standing..but mostly they just like rubbing the fact that they screwed ABC out of retaining their titles into their face….Bey and Austin starts a brawl, Scott D’amore runs in to break it up. Scott is exercising his power and tosses the Rascalz out of the building! Johnny Swinger & Zicky Dice runs in and ask Scott what they have to do for Swinger to get a title shot. Scott says Swinger gets a title shot if he wins ONE match…against Zicky Dice. They think they’ve struck gold until Scott says whoever loses the match is fired from Impact. The boss is back!

Backstage with Eric Young. He is on a high after standing tall with Scott D’Amore at Slammiversary. Nick Aldis walks in and says he’s happy to see his old friend. Aldis tries to recruit Young to take on all these young kids who are ruining their traditions. Young doesn’t like being put in a box….but he likes the tradition of two men in a ring with a bell ringing. Aldis smiles and they shake hands. It’s time to dance.

Jake Something vs Kevin Knight

Poor Kevin Knight. He has to share the ring with a returning and highly motivated Jake Something. Knight trying to out maneuver the big man but Something just bowls him over with a body splash. Huge clothesline. Hard chop as Knight is trapped in the ropes. Kevin gets a foot up and sends Jake to the apron. Good triangle dropkick and cross body to the floor finally puts Jake on his back for the first time. Something weathers the storm and blasts Knight back down. Hard shots. Inside out clothesline. Knight crawling to the ropes…he stuns Something with an enziguri. He goes for a rana but Jake catches him out of the air and hits a stout bomb off the second! Kick out?!? Knight tries to stand and trade. Bad move. Something decks him stupid. Knight popped up and hits a dropkick on the way down! High cross body for two! Another high crop body! Something keeps kicking out but I’m impressed with this fight that Knight is bringing! He goes for it again but Something catches him out of the air. Into the Void! Three count!

WInner: Jake Something

Savannah Evans (w/ Gisele Shaw & Jay Vidal) vs Courtney Rush (w/ Jessicka & Jody Threat)

<frantically googles to find out wtf happened to Rosemary cause he hasn’t watched Impact in a while> - AH, she’s stuck in the f***ing demon realm trying to find a Death Doll or something. Ok. Anyways, Rush came back to help Jessica fight a Coven? Ok. That’s what Wiki says. Well Rush has to fight EVANS now. Admittedly, I am pretty jazzed to see Rush go without the faceprint. Unfortunately, she’s having trouble matching the power of Evans. Shaw with the distraction and Evans just bowls Rush over. Big leg drop for two. Rush trying to come back…and Shaw getting involved yet again. Jessicka smashes Gisele to the post. Jody Threat picks up Jay Vidal and takes him to the back. In the chaos, Rush hits a spear and gets the three out of nowhere!

Winner: Courtney Rush

Backstage with Jonathan Gresham, who has requested for some interview time. After Ultimate X, he says he cannot hold his tongue anymore. If the X Division is about no limits, which means no rules. Gresham doesn’t like this lawlessness. He wants to bring back rules and maybe just maybe THIS environment isn’t for him…and he walks off.

Dirty Dango vs Santino Marella

This is a bit of a grudge match as Dango is seething with jealousy over how the crowd has been reacting to Santino. Also he hates Pro Wrestling and Marella is the Impact Director of Authority….so he hates Marella. Dango has been attacking Marella backstage. This has been boiling for months. Dango has to powder after the lockup, Marella is just controlling him. Santino goes for an armbar early as commentary talks up his pedigree as a MMA coach. Santino takes Dango over and over. Dango baits Santino into the rope to get the choke and the advantage. Big suplex and seated senton. Santino flips and Dango crotches himself! Dango focusing on the lower back. Santino tries a slam but his back gives up and Dango slams down on top. Dango misses a twisting senton from the top….Santino goes for the cobra….who is this man in riot gear who is trying to steal the cobra?!? Dango rams Santino into the riot guys headgear and he’s KO’d. Dango gets the three count as the riot squad guy is revealed to be Johnny Bravo!

Winner: Dirty Dango

Gisele Shaw and Savannah Evans are backstage and run into Masha Slamovich and Killer Kelly….it starts to go poorly but they back off…as Jody Threat walks in to dump Jay Vidal at their feet.

Backstage with Eddie Edwards and Alisha. They have words for Frankie Kazarian and Tracy Brooks….but before they can get them out, Kaz and Tracy show up and it just turns right into a brawl.

The ABC (Ace Austin & Chris Bey) vs Sub Culture (Mark Andrews & Flash Morgan Webster w/ Dani Luna)

If you looked at this matchup and said, “oh hey, this is going to be a really fun high energy tag clash with a LOT of fast sequences and tandem moves“, you would be absolutely correct. A lot of back and forth early but Andrew finally gets ahold of Ace before the commercial break and really tries to grind his shoulder out. Ace is just being worked over as Andrews drags him to the bad corner. Ace tries a slick escape, kick to the face of Webster, tag to Bey! Andrews taking the bulk of the tag fire. Brain buster for two! Webster tries to catch Bey sleeping with a 450. Whiff. Ace tags in, enziguri slam combo for two…it was REAL close. Webster gets treated like Austin a bit ago but Andrew with a slick save and Webster with the rollup! Kick out! Bey eats a poisonrana! Bey flies to the floor to wipe out Sub Culture as we go to commercial again. This rules. Back from commercial, Andrews eats an Ace spinning back kick for two! Both teams trying to end it but no one can hit their finish in its entirety. The Rascalz find their way back into the building, distract the ref…Trey takes out Ace at ringside…Bey is alone..Trading rollups, Andrews gets the leverage just right and lock in the successful defense!

WInners: Sub Culture

Our Main Event is the return of Josh Alexander! The crowd and Josh are clearly glad to see each other again…especially as Windsor was the place he was forced to relinquish his title previously. Alexander talks about his pride of being the champion. He talks about the doubt of not being able to recover and his ability to come back and be BETTER. He says Steve Maclin becoming champion was all the motivation he needed to take the sling off to start training again. He announces that as of now, he is 100% cleared for in ring competition. He wants his title back. But of course, Alex Shelley is in his way now….and Josh wants to know if Shelly is good enough to beat him. Cue Shelley’s music as the champ heads down to confront Alexander, the man he failed to win the title from last year. Shelley admits that he lost to Alexander a year ago…..but that was a year ago….Shelley wants the match too as he needs to prove something to himself. But WAIT, Lio Rush is here! Rush won the X Division title at Slammiversary and I wonder what designs he has on this conversation…Rush said he would win the X Division championship…and he did….and he beat Shelley’s best friend to do it. Rush says that if he wants to win the Impact world champion, all he needs to do is exercise Option C! This is looking tense….and now KUSHIDA is here! Kushida won Ultimate X, so he has a shot at that X Division title….and Kushida says there’s no Option C until Lio faces him. And now Bully Ray is here. What is going on here? Moose and Brian Myers hit the ring and help Bully lay waste to everyone. Bully yelling REMEMBER ME as he beats down Shelley, Kushida and Alexander. Rush is just watching the proceedings….as Bully offers him a free shot at Shelley…..Rush opts to rolls out of the ring and lets Bully continue the beatdown as the show fades to black.
