Norway actually has a long history of lake monsters, as it is deep within our folklore, not to mention Norse Mythology. Norway actually has a world famous lake monster named Selma, who lives in Seljordvatnet in Telemark.

But, we actually have 3 other lake monsters as well, and they are all being spotted to this day.

Mjøsormen in Lake Mjøsa, Rømmie in Lake Rømsjøen and Kudulla in Snåsavatnet.
I did not know you had so many. I will have to look them up.
