Deonna Purrazzo could be a free agent within a matter of months unless a new deal can be reached with IMPACT Wrestling.

Purrazzo's contract is set to expire at the end of 2023. The company will likely make a strong play to keep her on the roster, but the two sides have yet to begin those talks, according to a report by Fightful.

Purrazzo signed a multi-year contract years ago, and IMPACT Wrestling included an option year when reworking the contract after she’d outperformed her original deal. If no deal is reached, the former Knockouts World Champion will become a free agent for the first time in close to four years at the start of 2024.

Purrazzo is a three-time former Knockouts World Champion, as well as a one-time Knockouts World Tag Team Champion (with VXT ally and current WWE Women's Tag Champion Chelsea Green.) After first appearing for IMPACT (TNA Wrestling at the time) in 2014, The Virtuosa would return in 2020 shortly after her release from WWE.

Last month, Purrazzo proved she has the brains to match her brawn by graduating college with a degree in history. Speaking earlier this year, Purrazzo said about her IMPACT tenure "I'm here. Nobody has to worry about that."

She's is married to fellow IMPACT Wrestling star Steve Maclin, though the two are reportedly not allowed to acknowledge their marriage on TV.
