Jade Cargill Reportedly 'Finishing Up' in AEW, Expected to Head to WWE

Jade Cargill could be WWE bound.

During the 9/14 episode of AEW Dynamite, it was announced that former longtime TBS Champion, Jade Cargill would be challenging Kris Statlander for the TBS Title on the 9/16 edition of AEW Rampage.

Since this Friday's episode of Rampage was taped following tonight's live taping of Dynamite, Cargill came up short against Statlander in her bid to reclaim her title. However, that's not the only major news when it comes to the future of Cargill as Fightful Select is reporting that Cargill would be 'finishing up' with All Elite Wrestling. The report goes on to state that this week's TV tapings could very well be the last appearance she makes for the company with sources in both AEW and WWE expecting that she'll be WWE-bound in the near future.

Fightful also notes that there was at least previously thought to have been an option in Cargill's deal with AEW, but it wasn't known if the company or the former TBS Champion held that option.
