Angry WWE RAW Live Coverage - May 11th, 2025

IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley to take on Roxanne Perez and Giulia

Women's World Champion IYO SKY is about get some serious backup for her fight against Roxanne Perez and Giulia in the form of Rhea Ripley. Mami has been absent from Raw, leading to SKY having no allies when she was beaten down last week by Perez and Giulia. With The Eradicator at her side, The Genius of the SKY will be looking to make an example of Perez and Giulia. Which team earn a huge win?

    – The Judgement Day (Finn Bálor, Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh, Carlito & Raquel Rodriguez), AJ Styles, Iyo Sky, Giulia & Roxanne Perez are shown arriving at the arena.

    – Clips from RAW last week are shown.

    – We are live! Michael Cole and Pat McAfee greet audiences at home as CM Punk makes his way down to the ring.

Punk says it's great to be alive on a Monday night in Louisville, then says he is pissed off but a fortunate man. He says he's nursed a few injuries, but he can't shake being pissed off. He says he has a lot of enemies and it's easier to list off those who he isn't mad at, but at the top of the list of people he's angry at is himself because he's been there before. He says this isn't the first time Paul Heyman stabbed him in the back, then says 12 years ago, Heyman smashed a ladder into his head and caused him to need staples in his head. He says he thought Heyman and himself had grown and moved past that, but Heyman is still a snake. He says Heyman knows how things end, and he can't wait to get his hands on Heyman.

Heyman interrupts Punk and appears on the ramp, and Punk dares Heyman to step in the ring as he warns him that whatever his next words are will be his last. Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker join Rollins on the entrance ramp, and Rollins tells Punk just when he thought Punk couldn't get anymore selfish or egotistical, he tops himself. He says Heyman was Punk's best friend, but he made his life hell and is now in front of the entire world gaslighting everyone into thinking Heyman betrayed Punk. He says Heyman believed in Punk for years when no one else did, then calls Punk scum and trash. He says just when he thought he couldn't hate Punk anymore, he stands in the ring as the reason he isn't World Heavyweight Champion after last week.

Punk says Rollins will never be champion as long as he's on two feet, and Rollins asks Punk what his deal is. He questions if Punk loves suffering and being on the wrong side of history, then comes to the realization that Punk loves to play the victim and say "cry me a river".

Breakker slides into the ring and rains down right hands on Punk, and Rollins joins in. Jey Uso and Sami Zayn come to Punk's aid as Zayn and Punk grab chairs, forcing Rollins and Breakker to back down.

Penta then makes his way out to the ring. Chad Gable and Ivy Nile follow.

The bell rings and Penta goes straight after Gable. He fires off strikes and elbows on Gable, but Gable looks to remove Penta's mask. Penta prevents Gable from doing so and lands an arm drag on Gable off the ropes, but Gable responds when he flies off the middle rope.

Gable once again looks to remove Penta's mask, but Penta prevents Gable from doing so once again. Gable wears down Penta's arm down with a submission hold, then follows it up with a Northern Lights suplex and looks to fly off the middle rope with a diving headbutt. Penta intercepts Gable with a Codebreaker.

Gable delivers a moonsault to Penta off the middle rope and transitions into an Ankle Lock, but Penta quickly escapes and rocks Gable with a superkick. Penta and Gable then teeter on the ropes, but Penta hits the Mexican Destroyer on Gable off the middle rope for the win.

Mysterio says Balor could have cost him the match at Backlash. Balor tells him to not get paranoid like Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley did when they were in The Judgement Day and that he'll take care of AJ Styles for Mysterio.

    – We see clips from Backlash where Gunther beats up Pat McAfee in their match.

    – Back at ring side, Michael Cole thanks Pat McAfee for going into battle for him. The crowd all chant for McAfee and McAfee says he's very sore and he bruises all over him and blood vessels in his eyes are popped. McAfee talks about the new found respect he has for WWE Superstars.

GUNTHER's music hits and he makes his way down to the ring. He says the unimaginable has happened with Jey as World Heavyweight Champion, and Jey reminds GUNTHER he made him tap out at WrestleMania 41 to win the title. He says he knows what it's like to be a champion and all the pressure that comes with it, but because he understands, it doesn't mean his opinion about Jey has changed. He says he can tell Jey isn't comfortable and isn't a natural champion, then says as Adam Pearce told him before he came to the ring, he gets the next shot at the World Heavyweight Champion.

She says she's always been for the people and stepped away the last time she was criticized for going after the title because fans carried her to the main event of WrestleMania 35, but she won and the fans could no longer see themselves in her. She recalls a conversation between her and a friend in which she realized she liked herself more away from the ring because she didn't have to listen to the fans, then continues to rag on the fans as she makes it clear that she feels as though she's better off without them.

    – A video package for Rusev plays.
