Wanderlei Silva’s boxing debut ended in total disaster as he got knocked out during a wild post-fight brawl.

UFC legend Silva, 49, stepped inside the ring to take on former 41-2 boxing world champion Acelino Freitas at Spaten Fight Night 2 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

But the MMA hero’s boxing bow quickly went south after he was disqualified.

The fight was paused for a blatant headbutt from the UFC Hall of Famer, resulting in a point deduction.

The Brazilian did it again moments later, and that was when the fight was called off.

Tempers immediately flared as members of both teams climbed inside the ring.

That sparked a wild 11-man brawl that saw punches flying everywhere with both fighters getting involved.

Things got even worse for Silva as he was sucker-punched in the face by an unknown man in a tuxedo.

That knocked The Axe Murderer out cold as he fell flat on his back and slammed his head into the canvas.

The heavyweight was dragged to the corner of the ring as the wild brawl continued to play out.

Eventually a bloodied and battered Silva managed to be escorted out of the ring and towards the dressing room.

Silva is one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time after some unforgettable bouts with the likes of Chael Sonnen, Michael Bisping and Chuck Liddell.
