Live from Hammerstein Ballroom, New York
The show starts with a video taken from a hotel room with a panorama view of the Manhattan skyline. Standing silently, watching out trough the huge panorama windows, while smoking a cigarette and zipping on a drink are EAM Chairman; Emil A. On the sofa in the same room sits a rather stressed Mickie James, and it will soon be revealed there is more than one reason for her behavior....
Mickie: How?! How could We let this happen? How could you let this happen?
Emil A: We? I? Honey! With all due respect, and you know I love you more than life itself. But this is solely on you. Besides...
Mickie: Yeah?
Emil A: Bayley was right in one thing you know.
Mickie: Oh yeah? And what might that be?
Emil A: It's true I always favored you. How could I not? I mean....You are my wife. Besides, why wouldn't I favorites the greatest female wrestler eever to step inside the squared circle? But..... It's been brought to my attention that this has been hard on you over the years. Not necessarily making thing easy for you between the other girls....
Mickie: This is news for you? Hah! I don't know if I should laugh or cry. Offcourse it's been hard! How would you bear to hear every single day that you will always be favoritesed over the other girls, because you are the boss' wife?
Emil A: Well excuse me hon! But I was thinking I was working with grown up women here, not kindergarden childeren!
Mickie: Excuse me?!?
Emil A: But as I said, I have learned much the last couple of weeks, and starting this week, I will from now on not interfere in anything that's between you and the girls, for two reasons. 1. Because I don't want such gossip in the locker rooms. I did not build an empire on gossip by co-workers and or family and friends. And 2, you proved last night that you are more than capable of taking care of business yourself and plowing your own road. And when you decide that enough is enough. We can talk about that other than that we have discussed so much.
Emil walks up to Mickie and gives her a kiss before giving her the contract from the match against Bayley.
Mickie: Why do you give me this?
Emil A: You might remember what Bayley told you before she stormed off? You might wanna check the last sentence on the bottom there. And with your name on it, it's pretty official. Just saying...
When Mickie sees it, she screams...
Mickie: That bitch Bayley! Are you serious?! Ronda?!
We cut to the Jamboree vignette....
