A new name has officially crossed the line in TNA Wrestling. Moreover, the announcement at Sacrifice came with just enough build to keep fans guessing before the reveal landed.

The confirmation arrived during a featured in-ring segment on March 27, as the company used a familiar face to introduce its newest addition — and signal a clear investment in the future.

It was Chris Bey who delivered the news, standing alongside Tommy Dreamer and TNA President Carlos Silva. Bey reflected on his own journey with the company, noting how TNA helped shape his career before shifting focus to what’s next.

That “next” turned out to be Ricky Sosa.

Sosa entered to a strong reaction and didn’t waste time making his intentions clear. He thanked TNA leadership for the opportunity and emphasized that the moment was years in the making. Sosa pointed to five years of work that led him to this stage.

The segment culminated with Sosa signing his contract in the ring, making the deal official in front of a live audience. Shortly after, TNA confirmed that his merchandise was already available. This move suggests the company isn’t just signing him — they’re strapping the rocket early.

Sosa’s arrival follows his recent in-ring debut on TNA iMPACT, where he picked up a win over Brad Attitude. A four-year veteran with experience across Europe, he enters the roster with momentum and a growing reputation.

For TNA, this signing feels less like a gamble and more like planting a flag.
