Saraya is coming home to WWE.

According to a new report from PWInsider.com‘s Mike Johnson, Saraya has signed a new contract with WWE. It was noted that not only will Saraya return as a wrestler, but some sources believe she will compete as soon as Saturday at WrestleMania 42. PWInsider.com reports that Saraya, who will return to using the name “Paige,” will take Nikki Bella’s place in the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Fatal Four Way.

Nikki is still dealing with an ankle injury sustained a few weeks ago on SmackDown, and she is not cleared to compete. According to PWInsider.com, Saraya was “seen taking part in a run through for the match earlier this week.”

According to a subsequent report from Fightful (via Fightful Select), Saraya was denying that she re-signed, but the topic of her re-signing was brought in a couple of weeks ago.

Fightful has also confirmed Saraya has re-signed with WWE.

Saraya has commented on potentially returning to WWE in recent months. This seemed unlikely given she was not cleared to return to the ring after a December 2017 injury. Saraya continued to work as an on-air performer before her contract expired in 2022. She ultimately debuted for AEW that year, and revealed that she had been cleared to compete.

Saraya won the AEW Women’s Championship during her time in the company, which ended in March 2025.

During a recent interview with Rick Ucchino on The Takedown on SI, AJ Lee said that she’d like to see Saraya (Paige) and Kaitlyn return to the promotion. In regards to the former, she wants her to see how much better WWE is compared to her last run.

“It would be great,” AJ Lee said. “She’s so talented and I knew it from day one. We’d always joke that I was her fairy godmother. I just took her under my wing and tried to protect her. And just to see her now, it would be kind of heartwarming and healing. And she would be a great addition to this locker room. I think this place has really come a long way and the women work together so beautifully, and they’re so supportive. I would love for her to experience just how fun it is now.”
