    — The show kicks off with a video hyping up WrestleMania 42 featuring Lin Manuel Miranda.

    — Michael Cole and Wade Barrett greet audiences at home as John Cena makes his way to the ring. He says it's undeniable that this year's road to WrestleMania has been chaotic and unpredictable, then says this is the moment that he loves the most. He says everyone is gathered in the Allegiant Stadium because the live crowd knows that the time to talk is up and the time to deliver is now. He welcomes the live crowd and fans at home to WrestleMania 42.

    — The Usos and LA Knight make their way to the ring. The Vision and IShowSpeed follow.

    LA Knight and The Usos vs. The Vision and IShowSpeed

    The bell rings and Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso level Logan Paul and Austin Theory with double superkicks. Speed looks to fly, but Knight sees him coming and turns him inside out with a clothesline. Paul tags in, but Knight fires off stomps on Paul in the corner. Jey tags in and rains down right hands on Paul before Jimmy tags in and dumps Paul out of the ring. Theory interferes and delivers a shotgun dropkick to Jimmy, then rains down right hands on him in the ring.

    Speed tags in, but Jimmy levels him. Paul tags back in and fires off a forearm on Jimmy in the corner, but Jey and Theory tag in. Jey fires off right hands on Theory and levels him with a spear, then goes for a pin but Paul breaks the fall. Jimmy levels Paul with a superkick, but Theory sends Jimmy crashing into the ring post shoulder first.

    Speed looks to clock Jimmy from behind, but Jimmy sees him coming. Speed levels Jimmy with a hurricanrana, but Knight sets up for BFT on him. Speed sends Knight crashing into Paul to knock Paul off the apron, but Theory gets in Speed's face. He calls for Speed to double team with him on Knight, and Speed looks to do so. Knight sends Speed and Theory crashing into one another, then delivers a BFT to Theory and pins him for the win.

    Winners: The Usos and LA Knight

    — After the match, Paul dumps Speed out of the ring out of frustration and sends him crashing over the announce desk. He lays Speed on top of it and ascends to the top rope, but Jey clocks Paul from behind and The Usos land a 1D on him.

    Speed remains in the ring with The Usos as Knight lays Paul on top of the announce desk and holds him in place. Speed ascends to the top of the ring post and delivers a crossbody to Paul to send him crashing through the announce desk. Knight helps Speed up and the pair along with The Usos all yeet inside the ring.

    — Jacob Fatu makes his way down to the ring for the next match of WrestleMania 42 Night 1 and Drew McIntyre follows.

    Unsanctioned Match: “The Samoan Werewolf” Jacob Fatu vs. “The Scottish Warrior” Drew McIntyre

    The bell rings and Fatu blindsides McIntyre with a tope suicida at the bottom of the entrance ramp. Fatu sends McIntyre's head bouncing off the ring apron and one of the barricades, then sends him crashing into the ring post and into the timekeeper's area.

    Fatu pulls a pair of tables from under the ring and grabs several chairs that he dumps into the ring, then runs over McIntyre with a running knee. He grabs a toolbox and dumps out several tools on the ring apron, then looks to hit McIntyre with the toolbox. McIntyre moves out of the way and sends Fatu crashing into the ring apron, then catapults Fatu into the post that connects the ring canvas to the bottom of the ring.

    McIntyre sets up a table and grabs a staple gun. He fires off several staples into Fatu's forehead and grabs a wrench, but Fatu levels McIntyre before he can use it and rains down right hands on him in the corner, then delivers a Hip Attack to him and follows it up with a pop-up Samoan Drop.

    McIntyre catches Fatu with a back elbow, then dumps Fatu out of the ring and flies over the top rope to level him on the outside. He dumps Fatu back in the ring and joins him, then calls for the Claymore Kick. Fatu ducks out of the way as McIntyre charges at him looking to land the move, then sends McIntyre crashing into a chair wedged between the top and middle turnbuckles face first and follows it up with a moonsault off the top rope. He goes for a pin, but McIntyre kicks out.

    McIntyre uses the wrench to fire off right hands on Fatu and jams the wrench into Fatu's eye, but Fatu cracks a chair across McIntyre's spine and lashes his belt across McIntyre's spine repeatedly. McIntyre catches Fatu with a Claymore Kick and pins Fatu, but Fatu kicks out and McIntyre becomes frustrated.

    McIntyre and Fatu fire off right hands on one another, but Fatu fires off headbutts on McIntyre and sets up a table in the ring. He ascends up the ropes, but McIntyre throws a chair at Fatu and cracks a second one across his spine. Fatu then lays McIntyre on top of the table in the ring and sends him crashing through the table with a moonsault off the top rope for the win.

    Winner: Jacob Fatu

    — A tribute on WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan is shown.

    — Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair make their way down to the ring for the next match of WrestleMania 42 Night 1 and Lyra Valkyria and Bayley and The Irresistible Forces follow. The Bella Twins make their way down to the ring, but Nikki Bella is on a crutch. Nikki says she was not medically cleared to wrestle. Nikki says she is not going to ruin Brie’s opportunity so she called an old friend and it is none other than Paige.


    WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Fatal 4-Way Match: The Irresistible Forces (c) vs. Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss vs. Bayley & Lyra Valkyria vs. Brie Bella and Paige

    The bell rings and Bayley fires off right hands on Lash Legend. Bliss jumps Legend from behind, but Legend fights her off and Jax connects with a Samoan Drop on Bayley. Flair ascends to the top rope and levels Nia Jax with a crossbody, then dumps her out of the ring.

    Flair fires off chops on Brie, but Valkyria looks to fly off the middle rope and level Flair. Flair catches Valkyria and sends her crashing into the mat, but Brie fires off Yes Kicks on both Valkyria and Flair. Flair sends Jax crashing off the rope with a big boot, but Bliss tags in and delivers a Tornado DDT to Legend off the middle rope.

    Bayley tags in and double teams on Bliss with Valkyria. Bayley pins Bliss, but Legend breaks the fall and sends Brie crashing into the corner spine first. She sits Brie on the top rope, but Valkyria and Bliss join Brie on the ropes. Legend pulls Bliss and Valkyria off the ropes with a double powerbomb, but Brie levels Legend with a dropkick.

    Jax, Bayley, and Flair tag in. Jax sends Bayley crashing into Flair, but Paige tags in and delivers a suplex to Bayley. Legend dumps Paige onto the ring apron, but Paige fires off knees on Legend's head through the middle rope and ascends to the top. Jax then levels Bayley with a Samoan Drop, but Brie and Valkyria work together to dump Jax out of the ring. Legend delivers Lash Extension to Valkyria and pins her, but Paige and Flair both break the fall.

    Paige and Flair rock Legend with a double superkick and clothesline her out of the ring, then stare each other down. The two women exchange right hands with one another, but Flair sets up for the Figure Eight Leg Lock on Paige. Paige counters into a pinfall, but Flair kicks out and delivers a Natural Selection to Paige.

    Bliss tags in and ascends to the top rope, but Nikki pulls Flair out of the ring and hits her with her crutch. Bliss then flies off the ropes, but Paige catches her and lands Ram-Paige on her for the win.

    Winners and NEW WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions: Brie Bella and Paige

    — After the match, Michael Cole is overcome with emotions and after 25 years at WrestleMania commentating he is emotional with Paige winning.

    — Becky Lynch makes her way down to the ring for the next match of WrestleMania 42 Night 1 and AJ Lee follows.


    WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship Match: AJ Lee (c) vs. “The Man” Becky Lynch

    The bell rings and Lynch goes straight after Lee. Lee sends Lynch crashing into the mat with an arm drag, but Lynch takes out Lee on the outside and dumps her back in the ring. She ascends to the top rope and delivers a leg drop to Lee, then goes for a pin but Lee kicks out.

    Lynch sends Lee's head repeatedly bouncing off the mat, then exposes the top turnbuckle. The referee catches her and reattached the pad onto the turnbuckle, but Lee sends Lynch crashing into the mat face first and connects with an arm drag on her.

    Lynch sends Lee crashing into the middle turnbuckle spine first with a spinning slam, then follows it up with a Man Handle Slam and goes for a pin. Lee kicks out, but Lynch fires off stomps on Lee in the corner and gets in the referee's face. She shoves the referee, but the referee shoves her back and Lee takes advantage by surprising Lynch with a suplex. Lynch then delivers a Man Handle Slam on Lee and pins her for the win.

    Winner and NEW WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion: Becky Lynch

    — GUNTHER makes his way down to the ring for the next match of WrestleMania 42 Night 1 and Seth Rollins follows.

    GUNTHER vs. Seth Rollins

    he bell rings and GUNTHER runs over Rollins. He delivers a suplex to him and follows it up with a powerbomb, but Rollins sends GUNTHER crashing over the announce desk and fires off knees on his face. Rollins and GUNTHER then exchange forearms and boots with one another in the ring, but GUNTHER levels Rollins and cinches in a sleeper on him.

    Rollins runs over GUNTHER with a boot, then fires off stomps on him. GUNTHER responds with a series of chops to Rollins and delivers an elbow drop to him, then jams his boot into the side of Rollins' head. Rollins and GUNTHER teeter on the ropes, but Rollins pulls GUNTHER off the ropes and lands a Buckle Bomb on him.

    Rollins sets up for a Curb Stomp on GUNTHER, but GUNTHER lands a German suplex on Rollins. Rollins responds with a German suplex of his own to GUNTHER, and the pair level one another with clotheslines before GUNTHER lands a powerbomb on Rollins and pins him. Rollins kicks out, but GUNTHER levels Rollins with a right hand. Rollins intercepts GUNTHER with a superkick and a running knee, but GUNTHER counters into a double underhook suplex and goes for a pin. Rollins kicks out and lands a Pedigree on GUNTHER, then follows it up with a Curb Stomp on him and goes for another pin. GUNTHER kicks out.

    GUNTHER manages to cinch in a sleeper on Rollins, then levels him with a clothesline and ascends to the top rope. GUNTHER joins Rollins on the ropes, but Rollins lands a superplex on him. He lands a Falcon Arrow on GUNTHER and cinches in a sleeper on him, but GUNTHER manages to escape and Rollins delivers a pair of suicide dives to level GUNTHER on the outside.

    Rollins looks to land another suicide dive on GUNTHER, but GUNTHER catches him and powerbombs him into the ring apron and one of the the announce desks. He drags Rollins on top of the announce desk, but Rollins lands a pedigree on GUNTHER on top of the announce desk.

    Rollins hops on top of the announce desk next to GUNTHER, then runs off it to land a Curb Stomp on GUNTHER on the announce desk. Bron Breakker appears out of nowhere and runs down the entrance ramp, spearing Rollins and dumping him inside the ring. GUNTHER slides back inside and sneaks up behind Rollins, locking in another sleeper on him. Rollins faces as Breakker makes his way up the entrance ramp and to the back.

    Winner: GUNTHER

    — After the match, Bron runs the length of the ramp to spear Seth and he tells Seth he should have finished him off when he had the chance. Paul Heyman then stands at the top of the ramp and he hugs Bron.

    — The WWE Hall of Fame class of 2026 then appear on the stage.

    — Liv Morgan makes her way down to the ring for the next match of WrestleMania 42 Night 1 and Stephanie Vaquer follows.

    WWE Women’s World Championship Match: Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs. Liv Morgan

    The match starts off with Vaquer hitting a double leg take down and they exchange punches. Vaquer sends Liv into the ringside barrier and follows it up with a splash into the corner and a running double knee strike. Vaquer goes to the turnbuckles and Liv stops her. Liv then hits a springboard sunset flip power bomb for a near fall. Liv hits several forearms to the back. Liv hits a suplex and she holds on for a second one. Liv then holds on for the third Amiga. Liv hits an enzuigiri. Liv goes up top and she misses a frog splash when Vaquer gets her feet up. Vaquer hits a belly-to-back suplex and she follows it up with a Devil’s Kiss.

    Vaquer hits a butterfly face buster for a near fall. Vaquer sets up for SVB, but Liv escapes. Liv hits a lungblower and she slaps Vaquer. Liv sets up for a Devil’s Kiss, but Vaquer gets a victory roll for a near fall. Vaquer hits an SVB for a near fall. Liv hits a Code breaker and Vaquer hits an obLIVion for a near fall. Vaquer goes to the turnbuckles, but Roxanne Perez shows up on the apron to distract the referee. Raquel drops Vaquer on the top roe and Liv hits an obLIVion for a near fall. Vaquer hits a kick and Vaquer knocks Perez and Raquel off he apron. Liv goes for a suicide dive, but Vaquer moves and Liv hits Raquel. Vaquer hits a springboard cross body and she hits Raquel and Perez. Liv sends Vaquer into the ring steps and she hits a Code breaker off the turnbuckles followed by an obLIVion for the win.

    Winner and NEW WWE Women’s World Champion: Liv Morgan

    — After the match, Dominik Mysterio makes his way out to celebrate with Liv. The Judgment Day celebrate with Liv as well.

    — John Cena appears to announce that tonight's attendance count is 50,816. Bianca Belair's music hits and she makes her way out, telling the fans that you can't spell WrestleMania without EST. She says she knows it's been a long time since she's been in the ring and thanks the fans for their support, then says she thinks it's time to announce one more surprise: she's pregnant.

    — Pat McAfee and Randy Orton then make their way to the ring. Cody Rhodes follows.


    Undisputed WWE Championship Match: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Randy Orton (w/ Pat McAfee)

    Before the bell rings, Orton fires off stomps on Rhodes. Rhodes fends off Orton and McAfee, then sends Orton crashing into the ring post and delivers a Cross-Rhodes to McAfee.

    Rhodes clears the announce desk and rains down right hands on McAfee on top of the announce desk. Jelly Roll appears at ringside, and delivers an elbow drop to send McAfee crashing through one of the announce desks off the other.

    Medical officials bring out a stretcher and load McAfee onto it. Orton gets into the ring and the bell finally sounds. The two men lock up, but Orton runs over Rhodes with a shoulder tackle. Rhodes responds with a scoop powerslam to Orton, but Orton sends Rhodes crashing into the mat.

    Rhodes cinches in a Half Boston Crab on Orton, but Orton escapes and Rhodes whips Orton into the corner spine first. Rhodes connects with a suplex on Orton and pins him, but Orton kicks out and Rhodes ascends to the top rope.

    Orton and Rhodes teeter on the ropes, but Orton connects with a scoop powerslam on Rhodes.

    Rhodes fires off right hands on Orton, then fires off stomps on him in the corner. Orton connects with a Cross-Rhodes on Rhodes and pins him, but Rhodes kicks out before Orton catches him with an RKO. Rhodes and Orton then exchange right hands with one another, but Rhodes fires off right hands on Orton.

    Orton hits an RKO on the referee thinking that he's Rhodes, but Rhodes lands a low blow on Orton. McAfee runs back out to the ring sporting a neck brace and a referee shirt as Orton delivers an RKO to Rhodes and pins him. Rhodes kicks out, but Orton delivers a RKO to McAfee thinking that it's Rhodes again and Rhodes connects with a Cross-Rhodes on Orton. Rhodes then pins Orton for the win with the first referee counting the fall.

    Winner and STILL Undisputed WWE Champion: Cody Rhodes

    — After the match, Orton grabs the Undisputed WWE Championship belt from Rhodes and hits him with it. He connects with a Punt on Rhodes, then grabs the Undisputed WWE Championship once again and holds it in hand as the show goes off the air.
