According to Fightful Select, Mara Sade’s contract with TNA Wrestling has expired, making her a free agent. Sean Ross Sapp reported that sources close to Sade confirmed that her deal has ended.
Sade, who previously competed in WWE as Jakara Jackson, spent several years on the NXT brand as a member of Meta-Four. During her WWE run, she also challenged for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
The report added that Sade is actively involved in contract negotiations while also holding discussions with multiple wrestling promotions about her future.
Following her WWE departure, Sade signed with TNA Wrestling and made an immediate impact (excuse the pun). She most recently competed at the promotion’s television tapings in Albany. Here, she defeated Tasha Steelz in the opening round of the Knockouts Television Championship Tournament.
Fightful noted that it has not been confirmed whether Sade is scheduled to appear at this week’s iMPACT tapings in Philadelphia.
