The location of the 2027 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony appears to have been settled. This update comes at a pertinent time after conflicting reports created uncertainty about WrestleMania 43 weekend.

While speculation suggested the event could be held elsewhere, a direct public response has now pointed fans back toward WWE’s original international plans.

The confusion centered on whether the Hall of Fame would remain part of WrestleMania week in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, or be shifted to the United States before being aired later.

The speculation began after Qatar Pro Wrestling chairman Ali Al-Marafi claimed that although WrestleMania 43 would take place in Riyadh, several accompanying events — including the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony, NXT, and AAA shows — would instead be held in New York and pre-recorded.

That report was quickly challenged by Turki Alalshikh, chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority, the government body overseeing many of the country’s major sporting and entertainment events.

Responding publicly on X, Alalshikh dismissed the claims, writing, “Incorrect talk and all these offers will be in Riyadh?.” His response effectively reaffirmed that the Hall of Fame ceremony remains part of WWE’s plans for Riyadh alongside WrestleMania 43.



The clarification brings an end to days of uncertainty surrounding one of WWE’s biggest annual traditions. It also aligns with WWE’s continued push to expand its global footprint through premium live events outside North America. These include Clash in Italy and the upcoming WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia.

For now, all signs point to the Hall of Fame staying in Riyadh rather than occurring in New York. In wrestling, plans can sometimes change faster than a Money in the Bank cash-in. However, there is currently no official indication that WWE intends to move the ceremony elsewhere.

With the venue seemingly confirmed, attention can now shift toward the Class of 2027. Who receives one of sports entertainment’s highest honors during WrestleMania week remains an exciting topic.
