Unless plans change, John Cena is scheduled to defeat Edge and win the belt back at Unforgiven. In a way, WWE isn't really hiding the result as they are advertising Cena vs. Edge main events at all RAW house shows through mid-October.
The sentiment seems to be that Trish Stratus will win the title from Lita at Unforgiven to have a "happy ending." What happens with the WWE Women's Championship after that is currently unknown.

having Trish retire that belt is LOOOOOng overdue IMO!
That belt doesn't have enough worthy talent to keep around anymore.
Trish should win the belt from Lita,retire with it(as well as being a record 7 time champion),than later,in about a year or so,after all the women wrestlers have had time to recover from whatever injuries they have(or lack of talent as far as that goes!),WWE could consider bringing it back.

Vince doesn't have a good record when it comes to giving wrestlers happy ending does he! I hope she does win though

Disappointing to know Cena will win, although it was always obvious i've always had a small hope...
