Welcome Home Kurt!!!!
More Details On TNA's Move To Primetime and Kurt Angle
Just to clarify, TNA Impact will still only be one hour for the time being. Starting with the 11/16 show, Impact will be moving up two hours and start airing at 9 PM. The 11/16 show will be a special two hour show, but after that it will go back to being one hour. If TNA can prove themselves in the ratings, they'll probably get a two hour show in the future.
It seems as though that Kurt Angle's recent MMA aspirations were actually a smokescreen to swerve people into thinking that he wouldn't be joining TNA. The video clips of him that aired at the end of the No Surrender PPV were shot a few days ago in a Nashville, TN area warehouse. Local wrestlers were used and they had to sign a nondisclosure form to prevent the signing of Kurt Angle from leaking out before the PPV. Also, TNA employees were not informed of the Angle signing until about 15 minutes before it was announced on the PPV.
Due to the enormous amount of buzz created by last night's announcements, an excess amount of web traffic caused the official TNA website to go down a few times. In an effort to combat this, they put up a mere picture of Kurt Angle with no link to the main page to reduce the amount of bandwidth consumed - at least until the traffic died down. The site is currently fine and you access the main page again.

More On Kurt Angle, Jarrett's Scarred Back, Christy Sings
Kurt Angle's official website KurtAngleWWE.com has posted up the TNA press release announcing his impending arrival to TNA. Also, he'll probably have to change the domain name to something else soon.
The official TNA website has posted up a backstage video showing off Jeff Jarrett's scarred, welted back following the "Fan's Revenge Match" with Samoa Joe at last night's PPV. Jarrett wore several layers of t-shirts to protect himself from the fans' whips, although it doesn't look like it helped him much. Click here to see the mildly graphic video.
This past week, Christy Hemme was in Nashville, Tennessee to record a single for the upcoming "3rd Degree Burns" TNA music CD, which will feature numerous TNA wrestling themes. Hemme wrote and recorded the song herself. It's called "Society Box" and according to her, "It's dark, hard rock." Hemme also added, "It's about not ever falling into what society wants me to be."

TNA STARS COMMENT ON THE SIGNING OF KURT ANGLE
By Ross Forman
ORLANDO, Fla. - The backstage buzz before, during and after No Surrender was electric, to put it mildly. Wrestlers were asking about the major surprise. Announcers were asking. Even the referees. Not to mention the TNA front-office personnel who made the trek here from TNA’s corporate headquarters in Nashville, Tenn. No one knew for sure what – or who, as it turned out – the announcement would be, but everyone certainly had a guess, or two, or 10, or 20.
TNA Wrestling President Dixie Carter last week promised a major announcement at the end of the pay-per-view, held Sept. 22 at Universal Studios … and boy did she deliver, truly shocking the wrestling industry, from Stamford to Seattle and all points in between
Few moments in pro wrestling history have had the build-up and anticipation as Sunday’s announcement. I was there in Daytona Beach, Fla., in 1997, when Hulk Hogan ultimately was the third member of the nWo and turned his back on WCW and the fans. Well, Kurt Angle joining TNA Wrestling is bigger.
I don’t remember seeing the backstage area for almost any wrestling event so filled and yet, at the same time, so silent as when the Angle announcement was made.
The wrestlers, you see, did not know in advance. Sure, they all wanted to know, and everyone was asking everyone and anyone who they thought might know. But ultimately, when no one truly knew, it was a case of watch-like-the-rest-of-the-world.
The TNA roster was thrilled with the Angle announcement, without a doubt.

i think angle wrestling for tna can only benefit them and help them attract other big name wrestlers
I could understand when Kurt Angle got out of his contract for a break, he was broken down injured etc....
Him now going to TNA barely a month (I can't remember when he got out of his contract) after leaving that contract is low!! I've lost a lot of respect for him.
HE loved us so much that HE paid the ultimate sacrifice so that WE wouldn't have to...

UOW Exclusive!
Just a special, Kurt Angles announcement on the TNA PPV!!!!!
I just couldn't beleive it. This is way too perfect. The only thing I liked about WWE was Angle. I haven't watched a wrestling show for probably a year now but I am surely tuning into this weeks TNA. And that is exactly what tNA wanted to do. They have successfully done what WCW did. When WCW signed Hogan all the WWE fans went, "What the fuck? Wow this place is awesome. Hogan is here, and Savage too." Then after they were drawn in, they got to see the wrestling talent.
Yes WCW died, but that was because of bad management and with WCW already failing this leaves TNA to have a better go at it. Kurt will improve the ratings big time.
After I heard I just ran down TNA's roster and thought of all the amazing matches I wanted to see.
Angle vs. Joe
Angle vs. Sting
Angle vs. Petey
Angle vs. Abyss
Angle vs. Daniels
Angle vs. Cage
Angle vs. Styles
This is huge for TNA. Why have you lost respect for Angle. He left one company for another one. That is it. He made a personal decision and he now says he is a happier man. That makes you angry?
TNA is just doing a special 2 Hour Extravaganza this thursday but after that it is only one hour of primetime.
Big Thanks To NWOOO-Joe and daledaleuk
Hey, maybe he has also been pissed off at the way he has been treated. Did any of you think of that? This move is makeing me watch TNA even more. Plus, think of all the great matches with Kurt. Petey, Joe, Styles, Cage, hell even lower carders. It is a great move
Yes, Nick is on a different side. Got a problem. Bash my opinion
