    Default English Premiership Round-up

Middlesbrough recorded a shock 3-0 victory over champions Chelsea, Liverpool won at Wigan Athletic, while Arsenal were held at home by Bolton Wanderers.

Resurgent Newcastle United won at Aston Villa, Fulham thumped West Brom 6-1 and 10-man Everton battled to a 1-0 triumph at home to Blackburn Rovers.

Middlesbrough stunned Chelsea inside the opening two minutes at The Riverside when Fabio Rochemback's low shot squirmed underneath the body of Petr Cech.

Just before half time, Boro scored again when Stewart Downing's low shot eluded Gaizka Mendieta and Chelsea keeper Cech.

The pressure on Steve McClaren, after last week's 4-0 home defeat to Aston Villa, was eased further when Yakubu Aiyegbeni drilled in a third goal on 68 minutes.

A first half goal from Sami Hyypia allowed Liverpool to end their recent away-day hoodoo and claim a 1-0 victory over Wigan in a scrappy game at The JJB Stadium.

A nonchalant finish from Bolton captain Kevin Nolan handed the visitors a 12th minute lead at Highbury before Jose Antonio Reyes was stretchered off after a wild challenge from Abdoulaye-Diagne Faye.

In injury time, Arsenal snatched an equaliser when Gilberto Silva volleyed home a cross from Cesc Fabregas.

Shola Ameobi put Newcastle ahead after just two minutes at Villa Park, but the hosts were level by the 16th minute through the in-form Luke Moore's near post header.

Former Villa ace Nolberto Solano then helped to set up The Magpies' winning goal on 29 minutes when his shot was turned into the path of Charles N'Zogbia, who applied the finish.

Just after the hour mark, Villa passed up the chance of a second equaliser when Milan Baros had a penalty saved by Shay Given after Celestine Babayaro had been sent off for bringing down the Czech hit-man.

At Goodison Park, Tim Cahill had an early goal disallowed before Everton keeper Iain Turner was sent off for handling the ball outside of his area.

Cahill then had another effort chalked off before The Toffees scored legitimately on 33 minutes when the unmarked James Beattie headed home a free kick.

Heidar Helguson scored at the start, and close, of the first half at Craven Cottage as the Fulham striker volleyed the first goal, and headed the second, against West Brom.

Tomasz Radzinski ended a Premiership goal drought of 27 games early in the second half with a cool finish for Fulham's third of the match and Helguson's shot took a heavy deflection off Curtis Davies for the fourth goal on 58 minutes.

Collins John turned in a fifth goal for Fulham on 83 minutes before Kevin Campbell netted a consolation for West Brom with five minutes left, only for John to score again in the last minute.

I knew that this season that we were not going to win every game,But to get beaten 3-0 by Middlesbourgh is a joke.
Still i cannot sse us loosing the big lad we have over Man United and arsenal so the odd occasional slip up is not going to matter that much.
