Default Why is shooting star press banned? and what other moves are banned

Forgive if this has been asked before but why is the SSP banned in WWE. Did a wrestler hurt himself doing it or is it because it's to risky to the guy having it done to them. Like to many knees in the face or something? Or did somebody mess it up really, really, really bad like Hayabusa did in his match with Mike Awesome?

Also what other moves are banned? I know the pile driver is and I'm pretty sure Gregory Helmz's cop killer is banned but what else is also banned?

I'm interested to see what isn't allowed anymore or for that matter never was in the first place.

the only moves that i know are banned are the piledriver and the shooting star press after billy kidman botched it and gave chavo guerrero a concussion a couple of years. other than that, i don't know of any others that are banned

I think the 450 Splash is banned, because I remember Paul London using it, then he just stopped.

None of the moves are banned, so to speak, but there are moves heavily advised and pretty much told not to be done. Those moves could be forbidden because they are meant for only one person to do [such as Trips being the only one allowed to do the Pedigree, unless he's being mocked] or because it's too dangerous. Some of the forbidden moves are still allowed to be done on special occasions.

    Here's a list:

450 Splash [can only be done by people WWE feels are capable of doing them safely]

Shooting Star Press [with Kidman and Lesnar fucking up, alot of people aren't allowed to do this]

Piledrivers & its variations [only Undertaker is allowed to do it on a semi-normal basis. Kane is allowed to do it on special occasions, and if someone like HHH, HBK, or Foley wanted to do it, they'd be allowed to aswell]

Mr Kennedy did a pulling pile driver on Taker a few weeks back and I was very surprised to see it.

I heard a while ago that CM Punks cannot do the Pepsi Plunge. I cant remember why though. Maybe it was "heavily advised against."
