WWE: DONALD TRUMP TALKS ABOUT HIS WRESTLEMANIA MATCH; CALLS HIS WRESTLER BY THE WRONG NAME
For those who have been following the news here at WrestleMag.com over the past few days, you’ll already be aware that Bobby Lashley will be Donald Trump’s representative to take on Umaga at WrestleMania 23.
The Pro Wrestling Torch website are carrying a story of Donald Trump appearing on the Imus in the Morning program on WFAN in New York and MSNBC this morning, where he discussed working with Vince McMahon as well as promoting WrestleMania 23.
On Vince, Trump said that he is a great guy, and made reference to McMahon giving money away to charity. Trump said that WrestleMania is a sell out, with 100,000 set to be in attendance.
Imus then asked Trump about who his wrestler was going to be at WrestleMania, to which Trump replied “Lindsay.” Imus tried to get Trump to admit that wrestling was fixed, but Trump reportedly chose his words carefully and put over the wrestlers as great athletes. He put over “Lindsey” (obviously meaning Lashley) as the strongest guy he’s ever seen.
The announcement of Bobby Lashley taking on Umaga at WrestleMania 23 is to be announced this coming Monday night on RAW.
