I'm not sure if this has been mentioned and I apologise if it has but John Cena is just 5 days away from passing Bret Hart as #5 on the list of top WWE champions by combined reign length. This is complete BS and a disgrace to the WWE heritage if you ask me.

I completely disagree with you. It is different times. Bret was in it when there were a lot of greats in the business, while Cena is in it when top WWE talent is in a slight drought. I'm not saying there aren't other top people...there are...but few are worthy of holding the belt. There was Batista (at one point), but he was always on a different brand, Undertaker who never went after a title while Cena was around, Benoit was on a different brand...

The only people who Cena has taken down that were legitimately better than him were Chris Jericho, Kurt Angle, Shawn Michaels (who may still beat him), and Triple H. Maybe Edge, but Edge did beat him. There were good reasons for almost all of those: Chris Jericho was taking a break, Triple H was getting ready to go back into DX, Shawn Michaels could still win it and they want a good fued beforehand...the only one I'm not sure of is Kurt Angle.


Cena will lose the title and keep it off him in good time, but I don't hold it against the WWE for this.

Its a disgrace because Vince picked Cena to be his champ and is forced down our throat. He's a manufactured Champion that @ least 80% of WWE's fan base hates based on that fact. He's only holding the title because he has the image NOT because he deserves it. Back to Superman's title reign.......

Only the internet wrestling fans hate him, not all the people. While he is booed some times, he is also cheered a whole lot too.

He gets booed ALL the time. IWC has the internet to voice our disgrace. Its the same people attending those shows booing him out of the building. Even Cena admits in promos that he's not popular (although he'd be stupid to say otherwise with all those people booing him). Even when a heel is "throwing punches", the heel will get face pops and Cena gets booed big time. This is all common knowledge so Im surprised by your preposterous and laughable comment.

well to me i dont think cena is a disgrace to the wwe, i mean give Cena credit where its due cena listened when all the fans told him he couldnt wrestle and put on a great "wrestling " match w/ HBK not once but twice in what could arguable be called two of the greatest matches in the past few years.

See, there is no argueing with someone like you. Your have it set in your mind that this is the way it is, and nothing will change that. How bout next time you watch Raw, you actually listen and you'll see that it is definately not 80 percent. Fifty-fifty, MAYBE a little bit more than that, but Cena does get cheers too. After Backlash, when it started off just him, all cheers. When it was the HBK fight, he got cheers as well (I remember cause I was so shocked). Not to menction not a single person jeered him with Khali attacked (who would though...).

i agree with tommy yeah alot of people dont like cena but alot of people like him too and i dont think it will take anything away from bret hart if cena held the title longer combined

well, i am a big cena fan, i have been ever since his debut in the wwe. i have been through forums where 99% of the ppl hated cena, i just learn to deal with it, all i care about is that i like him and i just learn to ignore other ppls comments about him, but saying he gets booed all the time is wrong because there have been quite a few cheers for him in the past weeks. as a cena fan, i do say he has held the belt for to long now and should give it up to someone like HBK, who is getting toward the end of his career and deserves another good title run.

Cena is probably booed by about 30% of the fans at most and its not even that bad today compared to what it was last year. All of the Anti Cena marks need to step back and remember that this isn't a legitimate sport where the best always win, its a business and the fact of the matter is that Cena is a huge draw that puts asses in the seats and merchandise on peoples backs.If 80% of people were booing him than Vince would have turned him heel and they would be in the process of giving him this same monster push except as a heel. As for the hart thing, Bret was one of the most over rated wrestlers ever. In the grand scheme of things he was only slightly above average and he was only even given the title because Vince was going through the Steroid problems so he wanted to put the belt on a more average size person and Bret was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time.
